The pharmacist accepts responsibility, authority, accountability and ownership for management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.</p><h3 style=\"font-size: 14px; margin: 6px 0px;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h3><h3 style=\"font-size: 14px; margin: 6px 0px;\"><strong>Education:</strong></h3><p>4 Year/Bachelor's Degree required ndash; Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification.</p><h3 style=\"font-size: 14px; margin: 6px 0px;\"><strong>Experience:</strong></h3><p>1 year of experience required - Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR a minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy for additional details.</p><h3 style=\"font-size: 14px; margin: 6px 0px;\"><strong>Licensure:</strong></h3><p>Current Pharmacist licensure in the state of Virginia completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity. Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other applicable certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role required; excludes PRN team members who may not be eligible to take certification exam. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider ACLS certification - within six months of hire required.</p><h3 style=\"font-size: 14px; margin: 6px 0px;\"><strong>Additional Skills/Requirements Required:</strong></h3><p>Other duties as outlined in UVA Health Northern Virginia Culpeper and facility specific policies and procedures.
