We’re people-first, team-oriented, and looking for someone excited to contribute to meaningful, high-impact work.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work with developers and project management in a highly transactional OLTP environment to build new and support existing SQL code, structures, and data</li>\n <li>Evaluate and performance tune existing procedures and data</li>\n <li>Analyze business needs and software requirements to help determine feasibility of work within time and resource constraints</li>\n <li>Project life cycle involvement – planning, estimates, documentation, development, testing and deployment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p>\n<p>We value strong fundamentals, curiosity, and the ability to grow. If you have a solid foundation and are excited to learn, we want to hear from you.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Required fundamentals:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>3-4 years of recent experience with MS SQL Server 2016+, preferably in an e-commerce environment</li>\n   <li>Experience with designing SQL Structures and procedures to support highly transactional applications.</li>\n   <li>Experience fine-tuning SQL functions and stored procedures called hundreds or thousands of times per minute.</li>\n   <li>Deep understanding of database design principles</li>\n   <li>Experience with Data modeling</li>\n   <li>Creating tables for relational data, views, stored procedures, and indexes.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>Technologies you may work with here</strong> (These are things you’ll encounter, not hard requirements, so exposure to even a few is great):\n  <ul>\n   <li>Microsoft SQL Server</li>\n   <li>SQL Profiler, Performance Monitor, and other related tools</li>\n   <li>XML, JSON, MS Excel, MS SQL Server, and Tableau</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Who You’ll Work With</strong></p>\n<p>You will work closely with the Manager of Data Engineering, application developers and project management to design, support, and optimize SQL solutions in a high transaction e-commerce environment.
