    "description": "<p><strong>Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania </strong>is a non-profit organization looking to hire a dynamic Level III or Level II Classroom Assistant to work with children with disabilities ages 3-8 years old at our Cranberry Township, PA location.</p>\n\n<p><strong>POSITION-Classroom Assistant III or II</strong></p>\n\n<p><em>Classroom Assistant III </em></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Bachelors (Required)</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif\">PA Professional Teaching Certificate in Special Education, Elementary Education and/or Early Childhood Education (Required)</span></li>\n\t<li>Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)</li>\n\t<li>Acceptable results on Criminal, Child Abuse and Department of Education FBI clearances</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><em>Classroom Assistant II </em></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Associates (Required)</li>\n\t<li>Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)</li>\n\t<li>Acceptable results on Criminal, Child Abuse and Department of Education FBI clearances</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Classroom Assistant</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Planning and implementing activities to enhance students skills.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Assisting in implementing the students IEP.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Providing a safe and accepting classroom.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Providing 1:1 instruction as needed.</li>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Assisting in the instructional program, integration program and behavior management of students</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><strong>BENEFITS </strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify\">Work hours are Monday - Friday, <strong>9:00a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 6-hours days. Working only 30 hours per week, with a typical school calendar of 9.5 months per year!
