This culture carries into the pride we take in our work and in the communities, we operate in.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Lewis Energy Group is looking for a highly motivated <strong>Groundskeeper II</strong> to join our Facilities team.  The <strong>groundskeeper</strong> maintains landscapes at multiple residential, commercial and industrial properties according to maintenance program guidelines and company policies. Uses personal protective equipment provided by Company. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</strong></p>\n<p>Lawn care:  Operates walk-behind powered rotary mower to cut lawns.  Trims and edges around walks, driveways, flower beds and walls using powered line trimmer.  Removes lawn clippings, leaves, other debris or litter from grounds, using rake, broom, or powered backpack blower. Prunes trees and shrubs using hand and pole saws, hand pruners, loppers and hedge shears. Applies granular and liquid fertilizers and pesticides using walk-behind spreader and liquid sprayer.  Measures or mixes and selects applicator setting according to product instructions.  Cleans equipment after each use.      Systems maintenance: Maintains and repairs irrigation systems.  Visually inspects systems in operation and measures coverage.  Removes and replaces malfunctioning controller, valves, pipes, risers, and sprinkler heads or components.  Equipment Maintenance: Maintains tools and equipment in operating condition.  Cleans, fuels, changes oil, and replaces filters and spark plugs on gasoline-powered mowers, trimmers and blowers.  Replaces expended trimmer monofilament line and removes, sharpens and replaces mower blades. Scrapes or brushes debris, washes, lubricates and sharpens cutting surfaces on hand tools.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Work schedule/hours</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>M-F, 7am-4pm</li>\n <li>Must be able to work overtime when needed</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent and minimum 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with function, safe use and maintenance of variety of basic hand and power tools.</li>\n <li> Familiarity with design, function and maintenance of irrigation systems. </li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license. </li>\n <li>Certified Irrigation Technician (CIT) is preferred.</li>\n <li>Texas Certified Nursery Professional (TCNP) is preferred.  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. </li>\n <li>Frequently required to climb or balance and taste or smell; occasionally required to sit. </li>\n <li>Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds; occasionally required to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance. </li>\n <li>Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Environment   </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); work near moving mechanical parts; and outdoor weather conditions. </li>\n <li>Frequently works in high, precarious places; exposed to fumes, airborne particles and vibration. </li>\n <li>Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock. </li>\n <li>Noise level regularly ranges from loud to moderate. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Your Benefits </strong></p>\n<p>Lewis Energy Group appreciates the hard work and dedication you bring to our team every day.
