This role provides technical leadership, project management, client service, mentoring, and business development support while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.</p>\n<p>Typical projects include municipal solid waste landfills, transfer stations, landfill gas systems, leachate management systems, stormwater controls, environmental compliance programs, permit modifications, site development, and closure/post‑closure care facilities. Whether you are a recent graduate with untapped potential or a professional with proven experience, we invite you to discover a career path designed for you.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead engineering projects from planning and permitting through design, construction, and closeout.</li>\n <li>Manage municipal solid waste, environmental compliance, and related infrastructure projects.</li>\n <li>Prepare and oversee engineering reports, permit applications, plans, specifications, and construction documents.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with TCEQ, NMED, ODEQ, EPA, and other regulatory agencies.</li>\n <li>Develop grading, drainage, stormwater, erosion control, and site development designs.</li>\n <li>Manage project budgets, schedules, staffing, and client expectations.</li>\n <li>Review work prepared by engineering staff and provide technical direction.</li>\n <li>Mentor EITs and junior engineers.</li>\n <li>Support business development, proposals, client relationship management, and project pursuits.</li>\n <li>Serve as Engineer of Record and seal engineering documents where appropriate.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with team members to develop proposals, scopes, and fees.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with CADD technicians and EITs to develop Construction Drawings and Specifications. </li>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Biosystems Engineering, Biological Systems Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline.</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer registration in Texas, New Mexico, or Oklahoma.</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain and maintain registration in Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.</li>\n <li>Minimum 5 years of progressive engineering experience; 7+ years preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.</li>\n <li>Experience managing projects and client relationships.</li>\n <li>Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits and Perks</strong></p>\n<p>We offer a comprehensive benefits program that supports the whole person.
