[FEU].</span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:6.15pt\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:6.15pt\"><span>Location: Akron, Ohio</span></p>\n<p><span>Onsite / In-office</span></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:6.15pt\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:6.15pt\"><span>The Transmission Capital Portfolio Team is&nbsp;tasked with the identification,&nbsp;on-boarding, tracking, and prioritization of&nbsp;transmission capital projects in&nbsp;the&nbsp;ten-year portfolio</span><span>.&nbsp;</span><span>This&nbsp;team works with the project sponsors and stakeholders to identify capital projects based&nbsp;on&nbsp;operational/system and / or&nbsp;regulatory need and works with a variety of internal and external FirstEnergy resources to&nbsp;forecast the various components that comprise the capital portfolio (i.e</span><span>.&nbsp;</span><span>material identification, budget/ estimate forecasting, resource identification&nbsp;and forecasting, outage management, etc</span><span>.</span><span>)</span><span>.&nbsp;</span><span>The team focuses on&nbsp;active transmission projects and the management of the projects' finances, scopes, and in-service dates</span><span>.&nbsp;</span><span>The team also addresses emergent project work to ensure the active portfolios remain on budget and schedule</span><span>.</span></p><span><strong>Responsibilities&nbsp;include:</strong></span>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Strategic development and balancing of&nbsp;the&nbsp;capital portfolio&nbsp;(10-year&nbsp;portfolio) and&nbsp;providing&nbsp;oversight by&nbsp;performing financial analysis, resource evaluations, and ad-hoc support as necessary</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assisting in the development of detailed project scopes for all of the FirstEnergy Transmission portfolio of projects.</span></li>\n <li><span>Support comprehensive review plans at specific asset locations and promote projects into the overall capital portfolio plan.</span></li>\n <li><span>Initiating, recommending, and&nbsp;assisting in&nbsp;the&nbsp;development&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;capital&nbsp;portfolio for&nbsp;reliability, operational, and condition related projects</span><span>.&nbsp;</span><span>Supporting the project prioritization&nbsp;and presentation efforts of the Transmission portfolio of projects.</span></li>\n <li><span>Performing&nbsp;strategic&nbsp;research&nbsp;data&nbsp;mining, and analytics&nbsp;to&nbsp;support&nbsp;Portfolio&nbsp;analysis and&nbsp;reporting.</span></li>\n <li><span>Supporting the&nbsp;preparation and&nbsp;development of&nbsp;strategic content&nbsp;and&nbsp;messaging for&nbsp;internal and&nbsp;external audiences</span><span>,&nbsp;</span><span>including presentation development for senior leadership</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Interfacing with&nbsp;stakeholders to&nbsp;coordinate efforts&nbsp;to&nbsp;meet&nbsp;overall portfolio goals&nbsp;and&nbsp;supporting budgeting/forecasting and rates filing timelines.</span></li>\n <li><span>Providing excellent&nbsp;customer&nbsp;service&nbsp;through&nbsp;timely&nbsp;and&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;information,&nbsp;analysis,&nbsp;and&nbsp;reporting</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Managing&nbsp;the&nbsp;current year&nbsp;portfolio&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;emergent&nbsp;projects&nbsp;entering&nbsp;the&nbsp;portfolio</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintaining&nbsp;relative&nbsp;priority&nbsp;of&nbsp;projects&nbsp;to&nbsp;accommodate&nbsp;off-budget&nbsp;cycle&nbsp;requests</span><span>.</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrating a&nbsp;questioning attitude&nbsp;while&nbsp;also&nbsp;maintaining complete commitment to&nbsp;the&nbsp;overall success&nbsp;of the team</span><span>.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p><span><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;include:</strong></span>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>⦁</span><span>Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Construction Management or related field is required.&nbsp; In lieu of degree, consideration may be given to applicants having 7 years related experience or 5 years transmission or distribution utility experience.</span></li>\n <li><span>Minimum of 3 years’ related experience required.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Related experience includes project organization, engineering, finance, construction, project management, planning or project controls.</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong project management abilities with exceptional time management skills are required. Candidate needs the demonstrated ability to develop, manage, and control multiple tasks.</span></li>\n <li><span>Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication skills along with strong analytical ability are required.</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience with a project management tool such as Primavera, MS Project, etc. with related Scheduling / Resource Planning expertise is a plus</span></li>\n <li><span>Detailed Project Controls experience is a plus</span></li>\n <li><span>Understanding of construction timing and construction documentation</span></li>\n <li><span>Demonstrated abilities of effective analytical and reasoning capabilities.
