    "description": "<p><span>Mark Twain Behavioral Health (MTBH) is a private not-for-profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Organization serving Northeast Missouri since 1975 with a wide variety of outpatient services.  We strive to treat the whole person by promoting wellness as individuals work toward their personal goals of achieving a satisfying, productive and healthy lifestyle.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> RECOVERY COUNSELOR<span> </span></span>for our<span> </span><span>HANNIBAL MISSOURI - COMMUNICATIONS DRIVE </span>location.  This is an in-office position. <span> </span><span>This full-time salaried position offers competitive pay and full benefits.  </span>Consider joining our MTBH Team!  We offer a supportive culture of appreciation and a strong emphasis on the health and wellbeing of our team.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span> <span style=\"font-size: 12pt; text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide treatment services to Consumers and maintain clincial record according to standards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct Consumer screening, intake and orientation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Complete comprehensive substance use assessment and clinical reviews</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain assigned caseload with a schedule for sessions and engage with consumers at frequency indicated by their current level of care</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Make referrals to appropriate agencies to meet Consumer and/or family needs</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Participate in interdisciplinary team planning to discuss pertinent clinical and management issues</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide individual treatment, group treatment, aftercare services, and other services as assigned by the Clinical Director or Program Director</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">When asked and trained, provide clinical supervision for MAACD I/II applicants</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Adherence to the MTBH Ethical Code of Conduct and all policies is required.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span> <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Recognized as a Qualified Substance Use Professional or Recognized Substance Use Professional by the Missouri Credentialing Board</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Two (2) years of responsible professional experience in the treatment of alcohol and drug abuse</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain qualified status</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">We offer benefit plans including health insurance with a company-paid premium for employee, Health Savings Account with annual employer contribution, 403b retirement plan with annual employer contribution; employee wellness program with financial support for a healthy lifestyle, an interest in work/life balance that includes generous amounts of paid time off plus 11 paid holidays each year, educational funds and time allowance for professional development, amazing teammates, a strong emphasis on health and wellbeing and positive work environment, celebrations of employee appreciation, focus on core company values of compassion, excellence, innovation, integrity, respect, teamwork, and wellness, with opportunities to contribute the lives of others and help people be well.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Mark Twain Behavioral Health is an equal opportunity employer and does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, military status or any other characteristic protected by law in any of its services, activities, or operations.</span></p>",
