    "description": "<p><u><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Engineer has the ability to lead a client/client team (1-5 staff), small to medium projects, or portions of a large project utilizing their experience and education in structural analysis and structural design using concrete, steel, wood, cold formed steel and masonry. Engineer shall have a strong understanding of how buildings are constructed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer shall have a good understanding of structural software programs, such as RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, RAM Element, RAM Concept and apply the output to the design of the project.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer can work in an independent manner on several project and/or building types with minimal supervision from a more Senior Engineer or Designer.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer can communicate effectively to be seen as highly knowledgeable and/or an expert when discussing design challenges or projects, both internally and externally.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><u><strong>Job Duties:</strong></u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Engineer shall be proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT. Engineer shall be able to train employees on company standards, drafting techniques, and technical questions.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer will work in a collaborative environment with Architects and other Engineers to develop construction documents based on a clients&#39; requirements, including most project management and construction administration functions.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer will be able to perform a high-level of quality control of their projects and others, for final review by Engineer of Record.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer will have direct client contact.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer will establish project budgets, with the approval of Structural Team Lead, and work with Team Lead to ensure those projects are financially successful, unless in a strictly technical role for the company.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer could serve as Engineer of Record, with approval from Director or Executive, on simple project or roll-out clients.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer will be licensed in less than 5 states.</li>\r\n\t<li>Engineer shall be able to write specifications for most project types.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>About HFA</strong><br />\r\nHFA is a multidisciplinary architectural, engineering, and interior design firm who thrives in a people first driven environment.
