    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Lead Controls Systems Engineers are responsible for designing and leading building automation projects.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Team Leadership & Sales Support</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide technical guidance for a project team of 2-5 engineers</li>\n <li>Identify and assign tasks within the project team</li>\n <li>Lead customer meetings</li>\n <li>Assist with proposal generation by estimating hardware costs and the engineering effort required for a project</li>\n <li>Maintain relationships with existing customers</li>\n</ul>\n<p> Instrumentation & Electrical Design</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Create instrument lists by examining P&ID drawings</li>\n <li>Research instrumentation (temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow meter, valve actuators, etc…) and select devices appropriate for the project</li>\n <li>Research and select controls hardware appropriate for the project</li>\n <li>Compile submittal documentation for controls and instrument hardware</li>\n <li>Create panel layouts and electrical schematics for controls enclosures</li>\n <li>Procure project hardware</li>\n <li>Provide technical support for panel fabrication technicians</li>\n <li>Inspect completed control enclosures</li>\n</ul>\n<p>System Design and Configuration</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead customer design review meetings</li>\n <li>Configure user interface and HMI screens</li>\n <li>Configure DDC, PLC and/or DCS control algorithms</li>\n <li>Execute internal functional and quality control testing</li>\n <li>Draft system documentation</li>\n <li>Assist is customer demonstrations and acceptance testing</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Onsite System Startup</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Install project software and configuration onto site systems</li>\n <li>Participate in point to point loop checks for all instrumentation</li>\n <li>Perform software calibration and tuning</li>\n <li>Conduct functional tests of all systems</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot installation discrepancies</li>\n <li>Support additional customer testing</li>\n <li>Program field modifications as required</li>\n <li>Train customer representatives on operations and maintenance of system</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Technical Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors Degree in a technical field or related Technical Degree</li>\n <li>3+ years of experience in related field/industry</li>\n <li>Controls Experience in at least one of the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Rockwell: FactoryTalk Suite, RS Logix/Studio 5000, familiarity with PlantPAx DCS</li>\n   <li>Aveva System Platform</li>\n   <li>Inductive Ignition Perspective</li>\n   <li>Distech: Experience with BACnet and LON Distech controllers, Eclypse Controllers</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Other useful technologies include:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Johnson Controls: Facility Explorer or Metasys controllers</li>\n   <li>Tridium: Niagara N4</li>\n   <li>SQL</li>\n   <li>Scripting languages (VBA, Python, etc.)</li>\n   <li>Knowledge of Kepware OPC server, ThinManager, VMware is preferred.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>HVAC Experience/Knowledge:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic understanding of HVAC systems in large building automation systems.</li>\n <li>Understanding of sequence of operations and P&IDs for HVAC and plant utilities.</li>\n <li>Experience with functional testing, including the ability to create, maintain, and execute test plans.</li>\n <li>Experience with specifying instrumentation and control valves for HVAC systems</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation & Benefits Highlights</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p><strong>Competitive Base Salary:</strong> $80,000–$130,000, depending on experience </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Performance Bonuses:</strong> Bonus structure designed to reward results </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Travel Perks:</strong> Travel incentives + per-diem packages for field assignments </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Full Benefits Package:</strong> Medical, dental, and vision coverage </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Retirement Ready:</strong> 401(k) with company match </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Time Off:</strong> Generous PTO which includes vacation, holidays, and unlimited personal time </p></li>\n <li><p><strong>Grow With Us:</strong><strong> </strong>Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development support </p></li>\n</ul>",
