    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Senior Software Engineer — Real Estate eRecording</strong></p><p><strong>Logan, UT</strong></p><p><strong>Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Onsite</strong></p><p>We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design and build the platforms behind our real estate <strong>eRecording</strong> business — the systems that submit, track, and return recorded land documents (deeds, mortgages, liens, releases, and assignments) electronically to county recorders nationwide. You'll own meaningful slices of a mission-critical platform end to end, from SQL Server data design through .NET Core services to the Angular interfaces our clients and operations teams use every day — and you'll help us responsibly fold <strong>AI and machine learning</strong> into how documents are classified, validated, and processed. This is a hands-on senior role with real architectural influence and a direct line to the business impact of your work.</p><p><strong>Some of the things you will be doing:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Design, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs using <strong>C#, .NET / .NET Core (ASP.NET Core Web API)</strong> that power document submission, status tracking, and county integrations.</li><li>Model, query, and optimize data in <strong>Microsoft SQL Server</strong> — complex schemas, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning against high-volume transactional workloads.</li><li>Develop responsive, maintainable front-end applications in <strong>Angular (TypeScript, RxJS, HTML/SCSS)</strong> for client portals and internal operations tooling.</li><li>Build and integrate <strong>AI/ML-powered capabilities</strong> — document classification, intelligent data extraction (OCR/IDP), validation, and anomaly detection — to automate and accelerate the eRecording workflow.</li><li>Integrate AI services and APIs (e.g., <strong>Azure AI / Cognitive Services, OpenAI, or comparable LLM and ML platforms</strong>) into production .NET applications, including prompt design, retrieval, and evaluation of model output for accuracy and reliability.</li><li>Integrate with external county recording jurisdictions and partners through varied formats and protocols (REST/SOAP web services, XML, secure file transfer), accounting for the fact that every jurisdiction does things a little differently.</li><li>Translate eRecording domain requirements — document types, fee calculations, submission packages, rejections and resubmissions — into reliable, auditable software.</li><li>Write clean, testable code with unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews and uphold engineering standards.</li><li>Partner with product, operations, and QA in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver iteratively.</li><li>Mentor mid-level and junior engineers and contribute to technical design discussions and decisions.</li></ul><p><strong>What technical sills, experience, and qualifications do you need?</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>5+ years of professional software development experience building production web applications.</li><li>Strong, demonstrable expertise in <strong>C# and .NET / .NET Core</strong>, including building and consuming RESTful Web APIs.</li><li>Deep <strong>Microsoft SQL Server</strong> skills: schema design, T-SQL, stored procedures, and query/performance optimization.</li><li>Solid <strong>Angular</strong> experience (Angular 2+; TypeScript, component architecture, RxJS) and comfort across the full front-end stack (HTML5, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript).</li><li><strong>Hands-on experience applying AI/ML in production software</strong> — integrating ML models, LLMs, or AI APIs into real applications, and a working understanding of where these tools add value (and where they don't).</li><li>Experience designing and consuming web services and integrating with third-party or external systems.</li><li>Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern SDLC practices.</li><li>A pragmatic, ownership-minded approach: you can take a problem from ambiguous requirement to shipped, supported feature.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Experience in <strong>real estate, title, mortgage, legal-tech, fintech, or document/records management</strong> domains — especially eRecording or e-filing.</li><li>Deeper AI/ML background: <strong>intelligent document processing (IDP), OCR, NLP, RAG (retrieval-augmented generation), vector databases, or ML model training and deployment (MLOps)</strong>.</li><li>Cloud experience (<strong>Azure</strong> preferred — App Services, Azure SQL, Azure AI/OpenAI Service, Service Bus, Functions).</li><li>Microservices, message queues, and event-driven architecture.</li><li>Entity Framework / EF Core, Dapper, or other ORMs.</li><li>eRecording standards / <strong>PRIA</strong> (Property Records Industry Association) familiarity.</li><li>Containerization (Docker) and orchestration.</li><li>Automated testing frameworks and a test-driven mindset.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"font-family: Calibri; font-size: 11pt; margin: 0in;\">#CSC #CSCCareers #LI-HL1</p>",
