We are growing in healthcare construction, education/K12, municipal, residential, multi-family and MORE! </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The <strong>Project Executive</strong> leads a single large project team or multiple small project teams, guiding the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of the project(s).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assumes overall accountability for jobsite safety</li>\n <li>Assumes overall accountability for meeting contract requirements</li>\n <li>Verifies the accuracy of project financial forecast, notice provisions, and billings to meet contract requirements potential claims; escalates to leadership of unresolved deviations</li>\n <li>Ensures team creates a project-specific quality plan aligned with the owner contract and contract documents</li>\n <li>Ensures a team creates a closeout plan in alignment with the contract documents</li>\n <li>Provides leadership in motivating the project team(s) and maintains a positive work environment</li>\n <li>Directs and supervises work of project administration, project superintendents, and engineers to establish operational priorities and maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, subcontractors, unions, etc.</li>\n <li>Assumes overall accountability of subcontracting strategy and the integrity of the buyout process at project level  </li>\n <li>Negotiates all aspects of contracts, leads implementation of risk mitigation plan, final review of draft contracts, agreements, and purchase orders</li>\n <li>Assumes overall accountability to ensure project compliance with the insurance and bonds</li>\n <li>Coordinates all preconstruction services ensuring alignment with contractual obligations; reviews and approves all deliverables to Owner and design team</li>\n <li>Assumes overall accountability and leads the team with effective communication and prioritization to ensure focus and discipline to meet the project schedule</li>\n <li>Develops a comprehensive understanding of the local market areas and profiles to create and lead a networking strategy</li>\n <li>Responsible for the career development and coaching of team members</li>\n <li>Fosters a positive and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage team members</li>\n <li>Interprets and translates the organizational strategy, ensuring team understanding of their role in accomplishing strategic goals</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>KEY COMPETENCIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Leverage Business Insights</strong> – Understand and act on industry trends, local market and economic conditions and our business model to make decisions and create competitive advantage.</li>\n <li><strong>Deploy a Strategic Mindset</strong><em> - </em>Take a broad, global perspective when considering proactive solutions to long-term opportunities and risks that might develop in the future.</li>\n <li><strong>Display Emotional Intelligence</strong> - Demonstrate the capacity to recognize feelings and patterns of behavior and those of others. Plan for and support development of individual skills and abilities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management</li>\n <li>10-15 years of experience</li>\n <li>Or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong technical and communication skills are critical</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a team environment</li>\n <li>Leadership and management skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of industry standard software, Microsoft Office (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
