Responsibilities include those required to deliver quality service on schedule and within budget in a team environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Leads and orchestrates projects by exercising sound judgment in independently assessing, selecting, and creatively adapting standard methodologies tailored for our valued food and beverage industry clients. </li>\n <li>Performs most assignments with instructions as to general results expected, exercises sound judgment to resolve problems, but may receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and solicits the approval of the department manager or project engineer for proposed design solutions.</li>\n <li>Performs detailed phases of engineering work on major projects or total engineering work on projects of smaller or moderate scope.</li>\n <li>Analyzes mechanical, utility and HVAC systems, and provides solutions to efficiency, production and other issues.</li>\n <li>Works with the client and internal resources to develop project scopes schedules and budgets.</li>\n <li>Crafts precise engineering and capital cost estimates to ensure project viability and cost-effectiveness.</li>\n <li>May devise new approaches and solutions to problems encountered and communicates changes to the team.</li>\n <li>May supervise and coordinate the work of less experienced engineers and designers and be responsible for checking a portion or all of the drawings completed on the project within the discipline.</li>\n <li>May take part in client contact and business development activities.</li>\n <li>Meets with client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Develops engineering concepts and presentations.</li>\n <li>Coordinates work with other disciplines.</li>\n <li>Keeps current on new design methods and ideas.</li>\n <li>Travel required.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license required. May be waived for international assignments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications You’ll Need on Day One:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, qualifying for licensure in your state, is essential for this position.</li>\n <li><strong>PE or PE-tracked strongly preferred, ten (10) or more years of related practical experience with former employer(s) required.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>A minimum of 8 years of experience designing HVAC and mechanical utility systems, along with a solid background in sanitary production environments, is ideal.</strong></li>\n <li><strong>Prior consulting experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or food industry, and experience in sanitary design required.</strong></li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD programs.</li>\n <li>Strong communications, facilitation, and team leadership skills.</li>\n <li><strong>Salary Range: $120,000 to $130,000 a year</strong> depending on location, education, experience, and any certifications that are directly related to the position. </li>\n <li>Benefits include health, dental and vision insurance, life insurance, 401K, PTO & paid holidays. </li>\n</ul>",
