Description

Olgoonik is an Equal Opportunity Employer Overview: The Human Resources Clerk supports the Human Resources Department, working collaboratively with HR team members in Employee Records, Onboarding, Recruitment and Benefits as assigned. This is a temporary, full-time, project-based position anticipated to end in July 2026. Primary Responsibilities: Maintains and updates employee files, properly storing documents in an efficient manner. Reviews records and documents for accuracy. Supports onboarding activities and processing of hire documents. Supports recruitment activities as assigned. Supports benefits activities as assigned. Communicates clearly, both in writing and orally, with others. Maintains absolute confidentiality of employee and organizational information and documents. Provides secretarial support by entering, formatting, and printing information; organizing work; answering the telephone; relaying messages; maintaining equipment and supplies as assigned. Receives and distributes incoming department mail. Uses office equipment efficiently. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervisory responsibilities are not anticipated. Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of administrative office support experience, HR experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be able to work well in a team environment, working in a collaborative, friendly manner. Must demonstrate work that is organized, accurate and thorough. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products including, Word, Excel, and Outlook strongly preferred, Position requires self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under a minimum of supervision. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None. Security Clearance: N/A. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be able to occasionally stand; walk; sit; use hands and/or fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; operate office equipment, reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop; kneel; talk or hear; taste or smell.
