    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shop Technician / Inspection Technician</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span></p>\n<p>The Shop Technician / Inspection Technician is responsible for assisting with the inspection, handling, preparation, and maintenance of oilfield tubulars, tools, and related equipment within the pipe yard and machine shop. This role supports daily shop operations by performing equipment inspections, maintaining organization of inventory, assisting machinists and technicians, and ensuring all equipment meets company and industry quality standards.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in an industrial outdoor environment.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">inspection of oilfield tubulars, downhole tools, and equipment</span> for damage, wear, and compliance with company standards</li>\n<li>Perform <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">visual inspections, measurements, and documentation</span> of pipe, threads, and equipment condition</li>\n<li>Clean, prep, and stage pipe and tools for <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">machining, repair, shipment, or field deployment</span></li>\n<li>Assist machinists and shop personnel with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">basic shop tasks and equipment handling</span></li>\n<li>Operate <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment</span> safely (if certified)</li>\n<li>Maintain <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">organized pipe yard and shop areas</span>, including proper storage and labeling of materials</li>\n<li>Assist with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">thread cleaning, thread protection installation, and tool preparation</span></li>\n<li>Follow <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">quality control procedures and inspection checklists</span></li>\n<li>Complete required <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">inspection reports, job paperwork, and documentation</span></li>\n<li>Support <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">loading and unloading of trucks and pipe racks</span></li>\n<li>Maintain shop equipment and tools in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">clean and operational condition</span></li>\n<li>Follow all <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">company safety policies and oilfield safety standards</span></li>\n<li><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED</li>\n<li>Basic mechanical aptitude</li>\n<li>Ability to work in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">industrial shop and outdoor yard environments</span></li>\n<li>Ability to lift <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">50+ pounds</span> and perform physical labor</li>\n<li>Ability to read measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, gauges)</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures</li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">oilfield, pipe yard, or machine shop experience</span></li>\n<li>Experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">tubular inspection or thread inspection</span></li>\n<li>Forklift and/or overhead crane certification</li>\n<li>Familiarity with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">OCTG, drill pipe, or downhole tools</span></li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">machine shop operations</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><br></li>\n</ul>",
