    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a Procurement Team to achieve strategic and operational goals.</li>\n <li>Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for aerospace components and materials, prioritizing LTAs and contracts to secure supply and reduce costs.</li>\n <li>Supplier Negotiations: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry standards (e.g., AS9100).</li>\n <li>Contract Management: Develop, implement, and oversee LTAs and contracts, targeting 80% of critical components under long-term agreements within 12 months.</li>\n <li>Collaboration: Partner with Production Planners to forecast material needs, Supply Chain to ensure PO execution, and SRM to leverage supplier performance data.</li>\n <li>Cost Optimization: Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery performance.</li>\n <li>Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities meet aerospace regulatory requirements (e.g., ITAR, FAR, export controls).</li>\n <li>Performance Metrics: Establish and track KPIs, such as percentage of spend under LTAs, supplier on-time delivery, and cost savings.</li>\n <li>Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supply chain risks in collaboration with SRM and other stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong negotiation and contract management skills.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100) and regulatory requirements (e.g., ITAR).</li>\n <li>Ability to analyze data and develop sourcing strategies.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across teams.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: (Schooling and/or equivalent experience required)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree or CPM/APICS certification is a plus</li>\n <li>Minimum 5-7 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, with at least 3 years in aerospace or a similar regulated industry (e.g., defense, automotive).</li>\n <li>Proven track record of negotiating LTAs and contracts with suppliers.</li>\n <li>Prior leadership experience managing small teams (preferred).</li>\n</ul>\n<p>OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: (Other job-related characteristics needed to perform this job)</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strategic thinker, detail-oriented, proactive, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience as a Tier 1 or Tier 2 supplier to aerospace OEMs (e.g., Boeing, Airbus).</li>\n <li>Familiarity with lean supply chain practices and cost reduction methodologies.</li>\n <li>Existing network of supplier contacts in the aerospace industry.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:</p>\n<p>Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations; read and create drawings.&nbsp; Ability to write business correspondence and technical reports.&nbsp; Good verbal communication with the ability to present information and respond to questions from internal departments and vendors.</p>\n<p>Mathematical Skills:&nbsp;Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.&nbsp; Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs.</p>\n<p>Problem Solving: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.&nbsp; Demonstrate problem-solving techniques, use technical resources, and analyze alternatives and research issues.</p>\n<p>Computer Skills: Working knowledge with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project.&nbsp; Software&nbsp;experience in producing spreadsheets for reports, presentations and planning.&nbsp; Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems is desirable.</p>\n<p>Other Teamwork or Skills: Ability to participate as a team member daily or in meetings.&nbsp; Ability to listen actively and to respond in group discussions.&nbsp;Willingness to learn other job skills and assist other team members.&nbsp; Understanding of team and business goals.&nbsp; Reassess work based on team goals and team priorities.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><u>Additional Details:</u></p>\n<p>Salary range $110,000 to $120,000</p>\n<p>LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>",
