    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.28.24/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.28.24/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><p id=\"isPasted\">Salary range: &nbsp;$42-$45 per hour&nbsp;</p><p>Phillips Academy seeks a <u>full-time</u> Facilities Operating Engineer to operate high pressure steam fire tube boilers, steam turbine, and auxiliary equipment with minimum supervision. The successful candidate will possess a Third Class Engineers license or higher issued by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Public Safety. &nbsp;Experience operating high-pressure boilers, steam turbines, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, auxiliary machinery, and building management systems are required.&nbsp;</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">While the power plant is in operation (Late September-Early June) this is a 12-hour shift from 7PM to 7AM with every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday off. When the power plant shuts down for maintenance, the shift is four 10-hour days, weekends off, and &ldquo;on-call&rdquo; status and overtime as required. &nbsp;When emergencies and/or extreme weather conditions occur, the functions of this job may be deemed essential and employee must report to work and/or remain on duty during their regularly scheduled work hours or the work hours designated by their supervisor.
