Dan's Prize started in 1986 with 12 employees, and our continued growth has brought us to where we are today with over&nbsp;530 people.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>POSITION SUMMARY:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>Perform routine checks that include, but not limited to, monitoring of production lines, sanitation standards, HACCP checks, label auditing and weight checks.&nbsp; Completion and review of documentation.&nbsp; Assure proper execution of Dan’s Prize HACCP, SQF, NTIS programs as well as company policies and procedures.&nbsp; Provide technical support and training to the plant in areas of USDA regulation compliance, process control program analysis investigation, product performance reporting, GMP's and food safety principles</p>\n<p><strong>APPLICANTS MUST BE WILLING AND CAPABLE OF:</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing in one spot on a work stand or at a workstation except during breaks and lunches.</li>\n <li>Working on short notice, working 8-12 hrs. a day, work several days in a row if our business dictates and work mandatory overtime throughout the week and weekend.</li>\n <li>Working a day, evening, third and/or weekend shift</li>\n <li>Working in average temperatures of 35-45 degrees or less</li>\n <li>Working with different types of raw, chilled, processed, or ready-to-eat meats.</li>\n <li>Follow our strict sanitation requirements, including but not limited to wearing hair nets, beard nets, and washing hands frequently, no jewelry, no nail polish or fake nails, etc.</li>\n <li>Following our strict safety requirements, including wearing a hard hat, ear and eye protection, vinyl gloves and hand/foot protection.</li>\n <li>Practice safe working procedures in accordance with safety policies of Dan’s Prize Plant</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conducts the following audits &amp; inspections and completes associated paperwork.</li>\n <li>Label Verification</li>\n <li>Random On-Line Quality &amp; Specification Audits&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Weight Control</li>\n <li>Housekeeping</li>\n <li>Monitors and make sure all Food Safety &amp; Good Manufacturing Procedures are followed.</li>\n <li>Conducts monthly GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) audits, as needed.</li>\n <li>Perform Pre- Op Inspection as needed</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0.25in\">&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>PREFERRED EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Flexibility to work different days and shifts as needed to cover employees on vacations and leaves.</li>\n <li>Detailed-oriented and proven record of success as QC auditor.</li>\n <li>Basic Computer Skills</li>\n <li>Basic Math Skills</li>\n <li>Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Need to Speak and Read English</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>SALARY</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Pay Ranges $21.95 - $23.70</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>BENEFITS:&nbsp;</strong>Dan’s Prize offers an excellent benefits package.
