Interfaces with program management, system and software engineers, test engineers, and information assurance teams within an Agile environment. Supports Linux and Windows-based components in high-performance computing systems.</li>\n<li>Performs diagnostics and troubleshooting including low-level packet capture analysis, log review, root cause analysis, deployment support, COTS software evaluation, configuration management, and coordination of outage windows to minimize operational disruption.</li>\n<li>Develops and updates system documentation including data flow diagrams, configuration documentation, risk assessments, and analyses of alternatives for system-related concerns.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Critical Experiences</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on troubleshooting of IT systems and networks.</li>\n<li>Linux system administration experience.</li>\n<li>Virtualization experience using industry standard hypervisors.</li>\n<li>Experience deploying application software including application servers.</li>\n<li>Experience supporting multiple infrastructure networks simultaneously.</li>\n<li>System analysis, risk analysis, and/or vulnerability assessment experience.</li>\n<li>Experience applying software builds, patches, and configuration updates.</li>\n<li>Strong diagnostic capabilities including packet capture analysis and log review.</li>\n<li>Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks based on mission needs.</li>\n<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n<li>Ability to support extended hours for mission critical systems when required.</li>\n<li>Security Clearance (Secret)</li>\n<li>8570 Compliant</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Experiences</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Systems-of-systems integration and development experience.</li>\n<li>Windows Server (including Server Core) administration experience.</li>\n<li>Wireshark experience with low-level IP operations.</li>\n<li>Microsoft MDT experience.</li>\n<li>VMware experience.</li>\n<li>CentOS and RedHat experience.</li>\n<li>PowerShell and PowerCLI experience; familiarity with Python or REST APIs.</li>\n<li>SALT, Puppet, CHEF, or Ansible experience.</li>\n<li>Experience with iSCSI and Flash SANs.</li>\n<li>SolarWinds deployment and usage experience.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with firewalls, load balancers, NIDS, NAT, PAT, VPC, and ACLs.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of PKI systems using HSMs and NTP synchronization.</li>\n<li>ArcSight Security Analysis experience.</li>\n<li>Experience supporting Linux Oracle database instances.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Background</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related field with at least eight (8) years of relevant experience;</li>\n<li> or Master’s degree with at least six (6) years of relevant experience.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Success Behaviors (What does success look like?)</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates strong collaboration across technical and program teams.</li>\n<li>Provides thorough documentation and clear technical communication.</li>\n<li>Acts as an independent thinker capable of creative problem solving.</li>\n<li>Maintains high-quality performance in fast-moving, high-visibility environments.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to occasionally work extended hours in support of mission-critical systems.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br> </span></p>",
