    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><u>BASIC FUNCTIONS:</u><br>\n • Work as a Mechanical Engineer, applying mechanical engineering principles, technical expertise, and professional experience to support the design, operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of solids control, waste management, and disposal equipment.<br>\n • Provide mechanical engineering support for new and existing products, ensuring equipment performance, reliability, safety, and compliance with applicable standards.<br>\n • Develop engineering deliverables, including mechanical designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to satisfy operational and customer requirements.<br>\n • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve product performance, manufacturability, serviceability, and operational efficiency.<br>\n • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aligned with NOV business objectives.<br><br><u>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</u><br>\n • Apply mechanical engineering principles to support operational requirements for Brandt products and services.<br>\n • Design, analyze, modify, and improve mechanical systems, components, and equipment.<br>\n • Develop engineering calculations, design packages, specifications, drawings, and bills of materials.<br>\n • Support installation, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.<br>\n • Provide technical support to WSS Technical Service, Leasing, and Operations groups.<br>\n • Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for equipment and process issues.<br>\n • Coordinate with engineering and service teams on product improvements and customer-specific applications.<br>\n • Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards, quality requirements, and HSE expectations.<br>\n • Produce, review, and approve engineering documentation and drawings.<br>\n • Support training activities related to equipment operation and mechanical best practices.<br>\n • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness.<br>\n • Manage assigned workload to ensure project deadlines and deliverables are achieved.<br>\n • Travel domestically as required.<br><br><u>QUALIFICATIONS:</u><br>\n • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline – Required.<br>\n • Professional Engineer (PE) registration or progress toward registration – Preferred.<br><br><u>EXPERIENCE:</u><br>\n • Experience in a mechanical engineering environment.<br>\n • Experience with mechanical design, equipment troubleshooting, and product development.<br>\n • Experience using engineering software and CAD tools.<br><br><u>SKILLS:</u><br>\n • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including statics, dynamics, strength of materials, fluid systems, and machine design.<br>\n • Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software.<br>\n • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials selection, and engineering standards.<br>\n • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.<br>\n • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.<br><br>\n &nbsp;</p>",
