Scotia Harvest, along with many of the remaining employees of O'Neil Fisheries, will strive to continue the O'Neil legacy of quality products and decades of experience in the seafood industry.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sanitation Worker</span> is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within Scotia Harvest’s production facility. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and creating a safe environment for seafood processing operations. It requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and strict adherence to sanitation and workplace safety protocols.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong communication skills are essential, as you will collaborate closely with sanitation and production managers, as well as other departments, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Sanitation Duties</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and machinery to meet food safety standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Wash and disinfect tools, surfaces, and production materials.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Dispose of waste and byproducts according to company and environmental policies.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Respond promptly to spills or accidents to mitigate risks.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support additional cleaning and maintenance tasks during peak production periods or facility shutdowns.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">General Expectations</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Always follow food safety and workplace safety protocols.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Use personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain personal hygiene standards in compliance with regulations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Work Conditions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Work scheduling for sanitation operates on an on-call basis. You will be notified </span><span>of scheduled work at least 12 hours in advance. The typical work day is four to five (4-5) hours per day, Monday through Saturday, from 3:30 PM to 9:00 PM on processing days, and from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on non-processing days.</span></li>\n<li><span>Employee acknowledges and agrees that Employee’s hours of work may vary and may be irregular and will be those hours required to meet the objectives of their employment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Exposure to cold temperatures and industrial environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Career Development Opportunities</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">While the primary focus of this role is sanitation, there may be opportunities—based on operational requirements—for additional hours assisting in production tasks.
