Position Purpose: In this vital role, you will develop and refine the organisation’s communication strategy in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team. Your efforts will help increase community awareness about WellSouth's activities and support the achievement of our strategic objectives. Through the execution of an annual communications plan, you will utilise various channels, including our website, intranet, and social media, to ensure the effective delivery of communication projects and campaigns. As our Communications Manager, you will lead media engagement, provide valuable marketing advice, and ensure clarity and consistency in our key messaging. Your ability to generate positive media publicity by promoting stories, writing media releases, and pitching stories to the media will be critical to our success. What are we looking for: A skilled communicator, experienced in developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies, and eager to contribute to a leading healthcare organisation, we encourage you to apply. About you-   To be successful in this role you will: Have a tertiary qualification in Journalism, Marketing, or Communications At least five years of experience in a related Senior role. Possess a deep understanding of and commitment to the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to the health and community sector.
