    "description": "<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">CHAP Group Limited are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead all personnel on site and manage day to day site operations. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to a high standard and within budget.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Main tasks</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure full compliance with health &amp; safety regulations and company standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Take responsibility for day-to-day site decisions to maximise efficiency and profitability.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Liaise with the design team to manage drawings, specifications, and timely implementation of TQs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Supervise all site personnel, allocating daily tasks and ensuring clear communication of work requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Identify training and development needs within the team and support delivery of training where required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain high quality standards through ITP inspections, issuing defect notices, and overseeing rectification works.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Monitor contract and target programmes, producing 2–4 week look-ahead schedules to ensure resources meet project demands.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Review and propose programme or design improvements to enhance delivery and margin (subject to approval).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Review specifications and identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Prepare detailed and accurate material take-offs, supported by clear documentation and marked-up drawings.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Criteria</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Essential</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">CITB SMSTS certification.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Valid CSCS Card.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Full UK driving licence.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">First Aid certification.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary construction projects.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Excellent time management and organisational skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">IT literate, including Microsoft Office.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Desirable</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">NVQ/SVQ Level 4 in Construction Management (or working towards).</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Trade background or construction apprenticeship.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Minimum 2 years’ experience in site supervision or project management.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage on-site challenges.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-size: 12pt\">Up-to-date knowledge of industry best practice.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">This role is expected to commence in July/August 2026.</span></p>",
