Position is full-time.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Pay Types:</strong></p><p>Voluntary weekday and weekend overtime.</p><p>Saturday is paid at time and a half, Sundays are paid at double time!</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Type:</strong></p><p>Monday – Friday, 7:00a.m. - 3:30 p.m.</p><p>Full-time (Union)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Major Areas of Accountability:</strong></p><ul><li>Machine high quality parts within tolerance requirements, on a large CNC Horizontal Boring Mill (HBM).</li><li>Setting up and layout parts, both manually and using your machine to check proper locations and work offsets</li><li>Read routing information to determine sequence and method of machining.</li><li>Layout work, partner with Mfg. Engineering related to set up, machining and tooling.</li><li>Performs preventative maintenance of machines and equipment.</li><li>Uses electric and pneumatic hand tools.</li><li>Deburr and hand clean parts.</li><li>Completes necessary QA/Customer documentation.</li><li>Maintains a clean work area.</li><li>Lift and move materials using forklift, pallet jack, overhead crane or jib crane.</li><li>Demonstrates a commitment to Continuous Improvement by identifying opportunities in day to day work.</li><li>Performs to ISO 9001 Quality Standards and abides to OSHA and EPA regulations.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills Matrix:</strong></p><p>This is a Union Shop. Skills and advancement within the department is documented via the Machining teams Skills Matrix.
