As a <strong>Site Supervisor – Gatineau</strong>, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through various tasks and duties such as:</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Performs the duties of a Security Guard in accord with post orders and company policy.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Provides lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); acts to ensure that post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">May counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents counseling and disciplinary actions.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Assists in the training of Security Guards and review of post orders.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Assists in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">In conjunction with company management or designated company representatives acts to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Prepares, files and submits various reports as required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Must be Bilingual (English and French).&nbsp;</strong></li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Applicants must be eligible to receive a Secret Clearance (Eligibility for Secret Clearance include a Canadian citizenship and a minimum of 10 years residency in Canada is required).</strong></li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Must have a valid Quebec Security Guard License (BSP)&nbsp;</strong></li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.&nbsp;</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>WHAT WE OFFER:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">$26.40 ($28.50 with applicable premiums)</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Monday to Friday 0700-1500</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Full benefits package</strong>&nbsp;after 3 months</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Pension plan, paid sick days</strong>&nbsp;(after 12 months), and free uniforms</li><li style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Opportunities for advancement and development within Securitas Canada.</li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>Securitas Canada</strong>&nbsp;celebrates diversity, and we welcome and encourage applications from the four designated groups: namely women, aboriginal people, visible minorities and persons with disabilities.
