At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values—they are the pillars of our continued success.</p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Controls Specialist III sets up building automation control systems including creating custom programming, graphics, and trends.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Design and Pre-Construction\n  <ul>\n   <li>Assist in development and revision of advanced sequence of operations to improve energy efficiency of building HVAC equipment</li>\n   <li>Assess existing building automation system to assist design team with product selection</li>\n   <li>Conduct field survey to identify existing equipment types and building automation system capabilities.</li>\n   <li>Create Room Ventilation Schedules based on applicable code requirements</li>\n   <li>Provide feedback to the design team on design alternatives and best equipment choices.</li>\n   <li>Provide feedback on design pricing decisions.</li>\n   <li>Develop controls submittal packages including parts lists.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Construction\n  <ul>\n   <li>Provide onsite management of work direction of controls and low voltage subcontractors.</li>\n   <li>Complete start-up of control systems including setting up trends, graphics, and programming.</li>\n   <li>Program advanced sequence of operations of critical infrastructure including central plants.</li>\n   <li>Lead programming and controls implementation efforts</li>\n   <li>Ensure pre-functional checklists have been completed.</li>\n   <li>Troubleshoot control installation problem.</li>\n   <li>Provide construction administration, progress documentation, and design document updates to design team</li>\n   <li>Support commissioning efforts as part of the execution team and ensure commissioning documentation is complete for all controls installations</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Other\n  <ul>\n   <li>Troubleshoot and identify failed equipment and present proposals of correct action. Coordinate with other divisions to achieve the controls outcome</li>\n   <li>Uphold company owner advocacy philosophy, mission, and core values.</li>\n   <li>Perform duties while working in a team problem-solving environment.</li>\n   <li>Assist with the development of technical reports or related documents.</li>\n   <li>Performs work with a high degree of latitude.</li>\n   <li>Handles most complex issues and problems.</li>\n   <li>Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group.</li>\n   <li>Other duties as assigned or required</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<h4>Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with JCI, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane, Tridium, Schneider, or other building automation systems.</li>\n <li>10+ years of experience</li>\n <li>Expert knowledge of commercial HVAC systems.</li>\n <li>Ability to meet deadlines.</li>\n <li>Basic planning skills.</li>\n <li>Problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license and clean driving record.</li>\n <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates degree in automation, controls instrumentation or related fields.</li>\n <li>Journeyman electrician.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Travel Requirements</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>50% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.</li>\n</ul>\n<h4>Physical/Work Environment Requirements</h4>\n<ul>\n <li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li>\n <li>Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and/or poles.</li>\n <li>Climbing stairs.</li>\n <li>Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.</li>\n <li>Remaining in a stationary position, often kneeling, standing or sitting for prolonged periods.</li>\n <li>Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.</li>\n <li>Operating machinery and/or power tools.</li>\n <li>Operating motor vehicles.</li>\n <li>Low/high indoor temperature.</li>\n <li>Outdoor elements such as precipitation, heat, cold, and/or wind.</li>\n <li>Noisy/quiet environment.</li>\n <li>Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds.</li>\n <li>Medium work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $32.10 - USD $42.88 /Hr.\n<h2></h2>\n<p>ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
