This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated architect to lead and manage architectural projects in the Healthcare and K-12 industries, from concept through construction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong design and technical skills, project leadership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work in a collaborative team environment.&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;'><br></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:15px;font-family:\"Arial\",sans-serif;'><strong id=\"isPasted\">Essential functions and responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li>Lead and manage all phases of architectural projects, from programming and conceptual design through construction administration</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors</li><li>Coordinate and integrate work across disciplines to ensure design intent and project goals are met</li><li>Direct the development of construction documents in Revit</li><li>Prepare and review project deliverables, ensuring quality control and compliance with applicable codes and standards</li><li>Oversee and support junior architectural staff with guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise</li><li>Conduct site visits, field measurements, and construction observation</li><li>Respond to RFIs and submittals, review shop drawings during the construction phase</li><li>Participate in permitting processes, consultant coordination, and preparation of project manuals/specifications</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in Architecture from an accredited program</li><li>8+ years of professional architectural experience with demonstrated project management responsibilities</li><li>Strong working knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and standards</li><li>Proficiency in Revit is required; experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus</li><li style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Registered architect in Florida required<ul type=\"circle\" style=\"font-weight: initial;\"><li>OR Licensure in Florida is preferred; candidates who are eligible to obtain Florida licensure will be considered.</li></ul></li><li>Strong communication, organization, and time management skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively</li><li>Local to the Pensacola, FL area or willing to relocate</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and willingness to travel for site visits as needed</li></ul><p><em>&nbsp;</em><em>Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans</em></p><p>&nbsp;<strong>About GMC</strong></p><p>GMC is a multi-disciplined firm passionate about delivering impactful projects that improve the communities we serve.
