Additionally, you will be involved in component selection, communicating with manufacturers, diagnosing and resolving issues, and creating comprehensive documentation.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Technical Support to sales, purchasing and customers:</strong> Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical electronic and electro-mechanical component support questions regarding part numbers, part specifications, part number verification, marking and label verification, date code decoding, mechanical and compliance characteristics, manufacturing, assembly and testing, technical bulletins, PCNs, lifecycle, etc. Find part number crosses/replacements to meet customer requirements and create detailed analysis reports. Assist customers with new parts design-ins based on design specifications.</li><li><strong>Customer Communication:</strong> Respond to technical component inquiries, and ensure accuracy of Rand orders.</li><li><strong>Technical Support to Quality Control:</strong> Inspect and validate electronic and electro-mechanical components. Review and create component inspection procedures. Respond to non-conformances and discrepancies, analyze, and document inspector findings and troubleshoot technical issues related to inspections and quality control.&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Technical Support to Testing and Troubleshooting:</strong> Support in-house testing of electronic components for compliance with specifications. Create and review testing procedures. Troubleshoot issues and recommend test modifications as needed.</li><li><strong>Technical Support to Analytics Team:</strong> Collaborate on data analytics projects as related to components related information.</li><li><strong>Component Selection:</strong> Select appropriate electronic and electro-mechanical components based on customer requirements.</li><li><strong>Original Manufacturer Communications:</strong> Contact component manufacturer support for technical documents and component related issues.</li><li><strong>Issue Diagnosis and Resolution:</strong> Support NCs, RMAs and MRB.
