This position ensures full compliance with FAA Part 135 regulations while fostering a proactive safety culture and maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence and efficiency.</p>\n<p>The Chief Pilot serves as the FAA-designated Chief Pilot and is responsible for operational control oversight in accordance with Part 135. This role includes supervising and developing pilots, managing flight schedules, coordinating with maintenance and ground operations teams, and supporting company growth through safe and efficient execution of flight operations.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Leadership and Supervision</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and manage the pilot team, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and FAA regulations.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to pilots.</li>\n<li>Develop, implement, and oversee training programs for new and existing pilots.</li>\n<li>Promote professional development and mentorship within the pilot group.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Regulatory Compliance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all flight operations comply with FAA Part 135 regulations and company policies.</li>\n<li>Serve as the FAA-designated Chief Pilot responsible for operational control oversight.</li>\n<li>Stay current on aviation regulatory changes and implement necessary updates to company practices.</li>\n<li>Prepare for and participate in FAA inspections, audits, and regulatory reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Flight Operations Management</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee daily flight operations, including scheduling, dispatch, and crew assignments.</li>\n<li>Ensure safe and efficient execution of all missions, addressing operational issues as they arise.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft are airworthy and available for scheduled operations.</li>\n<li>Support operational planning for new contracts, projects, and mission profiles.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Safety and Quality Assurance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety within the flight operations team.</li>\n<li>Conduct safety meetings and participate in safety audits and investigations.</li>\n<li>Implement and monitor safety programs and initiatives.</li>\n<li>Work in conjunction with the Safety Management System (SMS) Manager to manage and continuously improve the company’s SMS program, including hazard reporting, risk assessments, corrective actions, and safety performance monitoring.</li>\n<li>Lead operational risk assessments for new projects, customer contracts, and mission profiles.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Documentation and Reporting</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of flight operations, pilot qualifications, and training.</li>\n<li>Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory authorities and company leadership.</li>\n<li>Ensure all operational documentation remains current and compliant with regulatory requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Education and Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or a related field preferred.</li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a helicopter pilot, with 3 years of the last 5 years within Part 135 operations.</li>\n<li>Minimum 3,000 hours Helicopter Pilot in Command (PIC).</li>\n<li>At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role in aviation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Licenses and Certifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with Rotorcraft-Helicopter rating.</li>\n<li>FAA Instrument Rating.</li>\n<li>FAA Part 135 Chief Pilot qualification and eligibility.</li>\n<li>Current FAA First or Second Class Medical Certificate.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Skills and Abilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong leadership and team management skills.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations and Part 135 operations.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in flight planning and scheduling systems.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated commitment to safety, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time, on-site position based in Lodi, California.</li>\n<li>Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as operational needs require.</li>\n<li>Travel as necessary to support flight operations, training, and project execution.</li>\n<li>Ability to perform flight duties as required, including field and external load operations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Application Process</span></p>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and copies of relevant licenses and qualifications through the Bamboo application portal.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 24pt\">Equal Opportunity Employer</span></p>\n<p>Wilson Utility Helicopters is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from all qualified individuals.</p>",
