Working with our Geotech Department team, we have an opportunity for a Staff Engineer to come and grow with us in the Tampa, FL area.&nbsp;</span></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Execute Geotechnical project assignments including engineering analysis, report preparation, field exploration and laboratory services.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Provide project-level development of reports and proposals.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Prepare the &quot;field packet&quot; before initiating any field activities on projects.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Field and laboratory sampling and testing.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Oversight and testing on geotechnical projects during design and construction and support Project Managers with responding to customers&rsquo; inquiries concerning testing progress and reporting.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Oversee deep foundation construction activities (drilled shafts, continuous flight auger piles, driven piles, etc.) for compliance on FDOT and Non FDOT projects.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Obtain CTQP Driven Pile and Drill Shaft Inspector certification.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Track your own progress within each task of a project and provide timely updates to Project Managers, and propose corrective actions if needed.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Follow department policies and procedures, and support achieving our goals and objectives.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Ensure tests are carried out in accordance with relevant standard test methods and according to agreed customers&rsquo; requirements.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Analyze and review field and lab data to ensure accuracy and to meet Company quality standards.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Conduct geotechnical evaluations as required and ensure compliance with applicable design codes &amp; manuals.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Prepare geotechnical reports.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Ensure safety policies are followed and demonstrate a safe attitude.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Review your own work to ensure adherence with the Department QA/QC procedures.</li><li style=\"font-size: 12px;\">While executing project tasks, develop an understanding of all tasks common to most projects as this is fundamental for career development.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;\"><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;\">B.S. degree (M.S. degree or Ph.D. is preferred) in Geotechnical Engineer or Civil Engineering.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;\">Successfully passed the E.I.T. exam.</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12px;\">Ability to travel overnight 50%&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;
