Clinicians will conduct evidence based treatment both individually and family based in collaboration with the school system.  Clinicians will be expected to collaborate with systems related to the child/adolescent including but not limited to schools, pediatricians, and outside providers. Apply today!</strong><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Minimum Education Required</h2>Master's Degree\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Promote a balanced, healthy, safe and open environment for clients.</li>\n <li>Provide school and home based, evaluations, family and individual outpatient counseling to children/adolescents in the school setting</li>\n <li>Follow all trauma informed practices</li>\n <li>Advocate for clients’ needs within the program as well as with external agencies.</li>\n <li>Maintain up-to-date client records including written evaluations, treatment plans, quarterly reviews, termination summaries and progress notes.</li>\n <li>Attend trainings as assigned; maintain necessary certifications (CPR/First Aid, MAP, HR/DPPC).</li>\n <li>Attends and actively participates in supervision and staff meetings</li>\n <li>Ensure that clients are treated with dignity and respect in accordance with Advocates Human Rights Policy.</li>\n <li>Adhere to all principles related to the Advocates Way</li>\n <li>Perform all duties in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Strictly follow all agency Performance Standards.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>MSW degree or MA in related field from an accredited college/university, and one year of experience working within an outpatient setting preferred. </li>\n <li>Degree must be eligible for independent licensure.</li>\n <li>Ability to work with children and families in the community</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skill, including documentation abilities.</li>\n <li>Intuitive, client-centered, supportive approach.</li>\n <li>Ability to thrive in an independent role while offering and receiving team support. </li>\n <li>Must hold a valid driver's license and access to an operational and insured vehicle.</li>\n <li>Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>Advocates is committed to cultivating a diverse and welcoming community where everyone feels respected and valued.
