We are looking for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, likes to be challenged, and values the opportunity to make a difference.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reporting to the Plant Director, the Maintenance Systems Manager provides leadership and direction to the plant maintenance department and is responsible for plant maintenance including facilities, utilities and operations in order to successfully reduce downtime and assure peak plant efficiencies.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life in coordination with daily maintenance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of equipment to ensure continuous production operations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Review production, quality, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Utilize OEE tracking system to establish proactive strategy to reduce downtime.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage the activities based in OEE software package, by assigning owners within your department and assure completion.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prepare and operate within established maintenance operating budget and monitor departmental expenditures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Direct plant capital spend and projects to completion and coordinate with appropriate vendors.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with planning and cost estimates for annual and longer term capital budgets.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead the Maintenance Systems team to include motivating, training, performance and development.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsible for all maintenance department metrics.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lead, manage and direct all activities for Planned Maintenance Pillar.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain complete equipment maintenance records and Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assess and recommend Preventative Maintenance enhancements to new or existing PM schedules.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Direct all aspects of building operations including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Supervise the completion of work through review of reports, frequent site inspections and conferences with operations and vendors regarding electrical &amp; plumbing equipment, HVAC systems, electric motors, ventilating fans, air conditioning and electrical control units.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Establish criteria for assessing the quality of work performed by associates and contractors.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Investigate the condition of buildings, equipment and grounds, and recommends improvements in the facilities to ensure that needs are met.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Promote safety throughout the entire maintenance organization.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure building and equipment meet OSHA and State regulatory requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Other duties as assigned.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent field, and at least eight years of related experience and/or training in a food or food related industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
