With offices in Austin and Houston, we provide orthodontic, sleep apnea, and general dentistry services. Our clinical team is led by our co-founders, Dr. Kyle Hale, Dr. Kalli Hale, and Dr. Matt Hicks. We are hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to join us in redefining the standard of care in dentistry. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The ideal candidate:</span></p>\n<p><span>Will have a passion for helping patients and supporting our dentists. Candidates should be friendly, energetic, motivated, ambitious, self-starters, dependable, and organized with a cheerful attitude.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>The Opportunity:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Full-time, paid Dental Assistant position to assist skilled Airway Dentists </span></li>\n<li><span>Competitive compensation: $20-35/hr depending on experience</span></li>\n<li><span>Numerous personal and professional growth opportunities in our expanding practices</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Duties include:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Taking ownership of back office duties and systems</span></li>\n<li><span>Taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs</span></li>\n<li><span>Assisting the dentist during pre-operative and operative procedures</span></li>\n<li><span>Scanning patients for procedures using Itero scanner, pre- and post-op work, crowns and bridges</span></li>\n<li><span>Preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments</span></li>\n<li><span>Providing post-operative instructions to patients </span></li>\n<li><span>Following up with patients to ensure the highest level of satisfaction</span></li>\n<li><span>Understanding each phase of our Airway, Invisalign and general dentistry treatments</span></li>\n<li><span>Placing temporary crowns, attachments, buttons, and fixed expanders</span></li>\n<li><span>Creating, managing, coordinating, and following up with online scheduling, consults, and virtual appointments</span></li>\n<li><span>Cleaning suction traps, running cleaners in equipment, and ordering supplies</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>The ideal candidate’s background</span><span>:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>We prefer candidates with at least 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant </span></li>\n<li><span>Invisalign experience preferred</span></li>\n<li><span>State License and CPR certification required</span></li>\n<li><span>Knowledge of dental instruments and medical equipment </span></li>\n<li><span>Proficient in taking accurate dental radiographs</span></li>\n<li><span>Outstanding organizational, communication, and patient service skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of situations and people</span></li>\n<li><span>Exhibits confidence and enthusiasm for new challenges</span></li>\n<li><span>Must have a positive attitude with a willingness to learn new dental technologies and techniques</span></li>\n</ul>",
