Ensure associates work in a safe environment. Motivate and coordinate associates to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives within the department. Responsible for overseeing department workflow, troubleshooting and resolving production problems. Develop and maintain a team environment which will work toward providing continuous improvement. Leads a staff of 50+ hourly associates.</p>\n<p>3rd shift - 10 pm to 6 am </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Milwaukee Plant Location </p>\n<p>7939 N Faulkner Road </p>\n<p>Milwaukee, WI  53224</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Proactively implement and promote a safe work environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead and motivate team to achieve a positive team based work environment that meets performance goals and objectives for safety, quality, delivery and cost. Communicate expectations and results.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage workforce according to company philosophy aligned with “Who We Are”, mission, beliefs, values and vision.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for planning and scheduling operations and workforce on a daily basis.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Regularly review process and productivity information. Troubleshoot and resolve production, quality and delivery issues working closely with a variety of support departments such as engineering, maintenance and planning.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Train, evaluate, coach and mentor associates, utilizing performance management techniques, to help improve performance, including disciplinary actions as necessary. Identify top talent for advancement opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead, participate in and support Continuous Improvement and other problem solving activities. Lead associates to use Continuous Improvement tools. Support implementation of new processes and methods.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain and consistently administer local policies to meet day-to-day operating requirements.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining procedures and work instructions and for completing a variety of administrative tasks as necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Previous supervisory experience and Bachelor's degree preferred. High School diploma/equivalent and a minimum of 2 years manufacturing / leadership experience required. Possess technical skills related to the area of responsibility. Ability to read, write and speak English.
