The Production Supervisor is responsible for directly supervising manufacturing operations. Ensure associates work in a safe environment. Motivate and coordinate associates to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives within the department. Responsible for overseeing department workflow, troubleshooting and resolving production problems. Develop and maintain a team environment which will work toward providing continuous improvement. Leads a staff of 50+ hourly associates.
3rd shift - 10 pm to 6 am

Responsibilities
Proactively implement and promote a safe work environment.
Lead and motivate team to achieve a positive team based work environment that meets performance goals and objectives for safety, quality, delivery and cost. Communicate expectations and results.
Manage workforce according to company philosophy aligned with “Who We Are”, mission, beliefs, values and vision.
Responsible for planning and scheduling operations and workforce on a daily basis.
Regularly review process and productivity information. Troubleshoot and resolve production, quality and delivery issues working closely with a variety of support departments such as engineering, maintenance and planning.
Train, evaluate, coach and mentor associates, utilizing performance management techniques, to help improve performance, including disciplinary actions as necessary. Identify top talent for advancement opportunities.
Lead, participate in and support Continuous Improvement and other problem solving activities. Lead associates to use Continuous Improvement tools. Support implementation of new processes and methods.
Maintain and consistently administer local policies to meet day-to-day operating requirements.
Responsible for maintaining procedures and work instructions and for completing a variety of administrative tasks as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous supervisory experience and Bachelor's degree preferred. High School diploma/equivalent and a minimum of 2 years manufacturing / leadership experience required. Possess technical skills related to the area of responsibility. Ability to read, write and speak English. Strong communications skills are essential.
