Come join our team!</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or an associate’s degree, technical diploma, or current enrollment in a nursing bridge program is required</p>\n<p>• Current licensure with the Board of Nursing for the State of Texas or Nurse Licensure Compact and BLS certification are required</p>\n<p>• One (1) year of professional nursing experience</p>\n<p>• The ability to demonstrate positive and appropriate interpersonal skills</p>\n<p>• Demonstrate good time and resource management skills</p>\n<p>• Demonstrate flexibility</p>\n<p>• Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills</p>\n<p>• Operate unit specific equipment</p>\n<p>• Knowledge of the nursing process, critical thinking skills, PALS, ACLS and interdisciplinary collaboration</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><i>As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards</i></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p>• Performs and documents assessment of the patient/family including biophysical, psychosocial, developmental ( age – appropriate), culture, spiritual, and environmental needs in an organized and systematic manner.</p>\n<p>• Analyzes situations, anticipates potential problem, and detects changes in patient status</p>\n<p>• Re-prioritizes and updates plan of care based on new information and changes to the patient’s condition; communicates this information to other health care team members and documents in the medical record.</p>\n<p>• Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and/or patient care conferences and documents in the medical record</p>\n<p>• Assists patients/family in implementing their role in the plan of care as appropriate</p>\n<p>• Assess patient family learning needs capabilities, preferences, and readiness to learn prior to teaching.</p>\n<p>• Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills when dealing with patients/families, visitors, peers, and other health care team members.</p>\n<p>• Administers and documents medications and treatments in a timely manner.</p>\n<p>• Demonstrates willingness and ability to acquire new knowledge and utilize new skills needed to improve individual, team, and organizational performance.</p>\n<p>• Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives.</p>",
