    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p>Job Specific Competencies:<br>Adheres to CLABSI and CAUTI protocols<br>Performs venipuncture, IV infusion therapy and pump usage<br>Wound care assessment, documentation and wound prevention protocol as per policy<br>Completes Plan of Care. Initiate, review and resolve based on diagnosis and history<br>Completes assessments and reassessments and required documentation accurately and timely<br>Renders appropriate nutritional care including enteral + parenteral therapies<br>Medication administration which includes critical medications and evaluates response<br>Adheres to infection prevention protocol including but not limited to hand hygiene, PPE and universal precautions<br>Administration of blood and blood products<br>Able to perform chest PT, oral, naso, tracheostomy, endo, and tracheal suctioning<br>Activates Core Measures and Septic Protocols as indicated<br>Able to perform chest PT, oral, naso, tracheostomy, endo, and tracheal suctioning<br>Reports critical Lab, Radiology, EKG, + ABG values to MD according to policy<br>Interprets cardiac monitor rhythm + performs appropriate interventions<br>Identifies + responds to emergency situations<br>Proficient in ventilation management + pulmonary support<br>Demonstrates proficiency in life support; code blue and Rapid Response<br>Adapts to varied age specific patient populations; e.g. infant, toddler, adult, etc.<br>Identifies concomitant health + social needs of patients<br>Ensures proper discharge instructions and medication reconciliation including follow-up referral<br>Assists with bedside interventional procedures<br><br>Documents patients pain assessment, pain goal and documents prn effectiveness of pain medications within 1 hour of administration<br>Administers Stat medications within one half hour of physicians order<br>Verifies all physician orders in Careview<br>Demonstrates proficiency is administration of emergency medications and drips<br>Reports any changes in patients condition immediately to either Hospitalist or Attending Physician.<br>Documents for restraints done per protocol.<br>Completes documentation for patient transfers to another facility<br>Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by completing their assignments and charting within the designated time of their shift<br>Initiates DVT prophylaxis when appropriate<br>Proficient in neuromuscular blocking agents and train of four&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:<br>Current NJ State RN license<br>BSN preferred</p><p>&nbsp;BLS, ACLS certifications - AHA approved<br>Minimum of 2 Years of experience in Intensive Care Unit<br><br></p></div></div></div>\n",
