Guided by our shared values and vision, we pursue limitless potential in people and places, striving to make a positive impact on every project, every client, and every community we serve.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summary </span></p>\n<p>This position consists of leading a crew of finishers or masons and laborers performing tasks involving installations of masonry and concrete products on commercial, agricultural and industrial sites to meet and exceed industry standards. Foreman is expected to perform the following - building layout, install footings, poured and masonry walls, perform any masonry work from toothing to cutting out and soaping back in, flatwork from paving to high level finished floors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Leadership / Management  </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain safety, schedule, labor and budget on self-perform masonry &amp; concrete work.</li>\n<li>Manage and work on a crew performing all the tasks listed below.</li>\n<li>Perform concrete preparation and finish work on commercial and industrial buildings.</li>\n<li>Lay out and print reading</li>\n<li>Form and pour strip and pad footings.</li>\n<li>Form and pour wall foundations using primarily Symons forms and lumber.</li>\n<li>Prepare for pouring concrete including fine grading, placing reinforcing steel and setting trench drains and bollards.</li>\n<li>Pour floors with pump trucks, buggies, screeds, floats and trowels.</li>\n<li>Cut and seal floors after pours</li>\n<li>Demolition of existing concrete.</li>\n<li>Patch and repair concrete surfaces in preparation for floor coverings.</li>\n<li>Lay, core-fill demo and infill masonry</li>\n<li>Install flashings, weeps and control joints to specifications</li>\n<li>Haul demo materials to dumpster.</li>\n<li>Unload materials and store efficiently onsite.</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean safe jobsite.</li>\n<li>Keep work areas supplied with materials and clear of construction debris.</li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as required.</li>\n<li>Teach and guide crewmembers</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous leadership experience</li>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate.</li>\n<li>5 years previous masonry &amp; concrete experience.</li>\n<li>Willing to travel minimally</li>\n<li>Able to work in adverse weather conditions.</li>\n<li>Results-orientated with proven ability to organize, plan and prioritize work to meet deadlines</li>\n<li>Able to apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills to projects and challenges</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Environment / Physical Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position requires the ability to maneuver around construction sites, see, hear, and verbally communicate with co-workers and clients.</li>\n<li>Essential and marginal functions may require maintaining physical condition necessary for sitting, walking or standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, reaching, squatting, stretching, bending for prolonged periods of time; at times lift and carry as much at 80 pounds; near visual acuity to review written documentation; ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our total rewards</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Up to 100% company paid health insurance for our team members. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Safety training and professional development opportunities. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Annual discretionary profit-sharing contribution to the 401k. </li>\n<li>401(k) match 25% of employee contribution up to 8% of your annual wages. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Why Greystone</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>We value <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety, Teamwork, Relationships, Integrity, Versatility, and Excellence</span>—the foundation of how we think and act every day.</li>\n<li>We exist to <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">build greatness and pursue limitless potential in people and places</span>, striving to be <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">the most trusted partner</span> with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">top talent committed to excellence</span> while building a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">legacy of positive impact</span>.</li>\n<li>We live by the Greystone Way: <em>Build it like you own it.
