We serve York County and neighboring communities through provision of fully integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care.</em></p><p><strong>Psychiatrist</strong></p><p>Full or Part-Time</p><p>The Psychiatrist provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services to patients across the lifespan within a Federally Qualified Health Center. This role plays a key part in advancing integrated behavioral health care, collaborating closely with primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, and care management teams. The Psychiatrist:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Conducts psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management for patients with mental health and co-occurring conditions for adults, adolescents, and children.</li><li>Develops and implements individualized treatment plans consistent with evidence-based practices.</li><li>Provides substance use disorder (SUD) and opioid use disorder (OUD) treatment.&nbsp;</li><li>Provides crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.</li><li>Adheres to FQHC standards, federal and state regulations, and clinical best practices.</li></ul><p>Applicants must have a medical degree from an accredited medical school in the U.S., be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Have an unrestricted Maine license to practice medicine. And have a U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency registration with authorization to prescribe controlled substances. Qualifications include:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Experience working in an FQHC, community mental health center, or similar setting.</li><li>Experience with telepsychiatry.</li><li>Familiarity with trauma informed care and social determinants of health.</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Proficiency in the use of at least one ONC-certified electronic medical record system and basic Microsoft applications.</li></ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Must not have an active record on the System for Award Management (SAM) website.</li></ul><p>Must show proof of immunity or have been immunized for MMR, Hep B, Influenza (required annually) and the COVID primary series.</p><p>Benefits:&nbsp;</p><p>Health, dental, vision and basic life insurance; HRA; Income protection; FSA; 403(b); PTO; Paid holidays; Employee Assistance Program; License renewal reimbursement</p><p>Nasson Health Care is an eligible site for the National Health Service Corps.
