          "text": "<p>The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and machinery used in the manufacturing of medical devices. This role ensures that all equipment operates efficiently and meets quality and safety standards to support continuous production. Performs a variety of skilled journeyman level general, mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks. Conducts inspections, servicing, repair and overhaul of equipment in the molding and assembly areas of the manufacturing facility. May serve as a technical expert in HVAC operations, service, and repair.</p><p><strong>Main accountabilities and tasks</strong><strong> </strong></p><ol><li>Perform routine preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime</li><li>Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and perform timely repairs</li><li>Calibrate and adjust machines to maintain compliance with production and quality specifications</li><li>Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to identify equipment improvements and upgrades</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records and report any equipment malfunctions</li><li>Ensure all maintenance activities comply with cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety regulations</li><li>Assist in equipment installations, validations and qualification activities</li><li>Respond promptly to production equipment breakdowns to reduce operational disruptions</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and productivity.</li><li>Use state and local Building Code knowledge and promptly advises management of any issues or concerns</li><li>Understands various systems within the building and inspects and assesses the condition<ul><li>AC</li><li>Cooling Water Chiller</li><li>Compressed Air</li><li>Electrical Installations</li><li>Clean room</li></ul></li><li>Manage and maintain the building management control systems</li><li>Read, understand and interpret electrical, mechanical and fluid prints</li><li>Coordinate, oversee and ensure outside vendor service is properly completed and meets medmix standards for repair and maintenance</li><li>Responds to and resolves skilled facility installation and repair requests for electrical, plumbing and department equipment as assigned</li><li>Document work in such a way as to provide accurate repair and preventive maintenance history</li><li>Initiates improvements to existing systems</li><li>Supports programs EHS and monitors hazardous waste</li></ol><p>&#xa0;</p>",
