Collaborate with industry experts and committed teams to align project goals with owner expectations, adhering to contract specifications and upholding the highest standards. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Apply now and transform your career with us. </p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide overall leadership for bridges and structural work on the project</li>\n <li>Lead pre-construction and construction work related to structures work in collaboration with design team lead and client team lead for structures</li>\n <li>Chair regular working group meetings and coordinate matters related to budget, schedule, design progress, permitting, construction planning, subcontract procurement in the pre-construction phase</li>\n <li>Demonstrate leadership in health and safety in the pre-construction, planning, and execution phase</li>\n <li>Ensure the work related to structures is planned and executed in a manner consistent with contract requirements and client expectations</li>\n <li>Establish financial and schedule goals for the structures discipline</li>\n <li>Lead a culture of accountability in fulfilling commitments</li>\n <li>Establish the process for tracking and reporting progress on various issues and aspects of the structure's work in the pre-construction and construction phases.</li>\n <li>Lead the development of construction plan, sequence and staging </li>\n <li>Identify and plan temporary work requirements</li>\n <li>Identify and coordinate timing and scope interfaces with other disciplines </li>\n <li>Ensure the implementation of the Safety Program to create a safe work environment throughout the job site and adhere to the safety and record-keeping requirements</li>\n <li>Ensure adherence to project Quality and Environmental management requirements</li>\n <li>Manage subcontracts responsible for delivering the scope in the structures discipline</li>\n <li>Participate in meetings with clients, subcontracted engineering firms, suppliers, operators and project owner</li>\n <li>Perform additional assignments as directed by the Construction Manager or as required for successful project completion</li>\n <li>Timely communication and resolution of issues</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or Construction Management</li>\n <li>PEng. license in the Province of Ontario will be considered an asset</li>\n <li>Minimum 15 years of experience, with demonstrated experience in Structural work </li>\n <li>Experience in heavy civil infrastructure projects is required</li>\n <li>Experience in large transit infrastructure projects is preferred</li>\n <li>Experience working in the rail corridor </li>\n <li>Experience in bridges and retaining walls construction projects </li>\n <li>Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, engineering drawings and other documents</li>\n <li>Project management skills </li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to manage the financial performance of a discipline or department</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain functional working relationships subcontractors</li>\n <li>Proven leadership, communication and negotiation skills</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why work for us</h2>\n<p>Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program</li>\n <li>Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP</li>\n <li>Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical</li>\n <li>Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.</p>\n<h2>Salary Min</h2>CAD $175,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Salary Max</h2>CAD $200,000.00/Yr.",
