    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Purpose&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The Transportation Driver transports passengers in agency vans/vehicles over specified routes and/or distant points, according to time schedule, in a safe and professional manner. Drivers will be responsible for keeping the vehicles and equipment maintained, ensuring that the vehicle has all the necessary supplies, completion of shift forms and maintaining FCCBH&rsquo;s professional code of ethics.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Must possess a valid Class &ldquo;E&rdquo; Chauffeurs Licenses&nbsp;</li><li>Minimum one (1) year related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours, as needed.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Core Job Duties&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Must maintain a safe driving record.&nbsp;</li><li>Conducts monthly vehicle inspections for assigned agency vans/vehicles.&nbsp;</li><li>Completion of daily pre-trip inspections to include checking of gas, oil, and water prior to departure to ensure passenger comfort and safety.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensures that assigned vehicles are exceptionally clean, inside and out, at all times.&nbsp;</li><li>Makes basic maintenance repairs and tire changes as needed and when possible.</li><li>Maintains awareness of maintenance schedule for assigned vehicle. Always meets schedule. Works with garage to maintain efficiency in scheduling.</li><li>Reports all preventable/unpreventable accidents and incidents in a timely and appropriate manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Always utilizes defensive driving techniques. Multiple observations practicing safe and defensive driving procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Transports passengers in a safe and professional manner at all times.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist passengers with walkers/wheelchairs and assist them when entering and exiting the vehicle as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Regulates heating and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.&nbsp;</li><li>Complies with local and state traffic regulations.&nbsp;</li><li>Reports route delays to supervisor in a timely manner.&nbsp;</li><li>Capable of understanding directions and the ability to use I-pads accurately.&nbsp;</li><li>Orally communicate information effectively and accurately.  Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency&rsquo;s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care.&nbsp;</li><li>Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li>Other job duties and special projects as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
