POSITION PURPOSE: The Private Wealth Group, National Accounts is seeking a 1st Vice President to support CIM’s fundraising campaigns across its platform of real estate, infrastructure and debt offerings at National Wirehouses as well as several National and Regional Banks. This position is ideally based in NYC but can be remote depending on the strength of a candidate with a preference of NY Metro and will report to the 1st VP, National Accounts.  An ideal candidate should have relevant national accounts coverage experience working with National Wirehouses and some experience working with Banks. Actual base salary considers several factors including but not limited to geography, job-related knowledge, experience, and budget. The start of the salary range is typically associated with the minimum experience required. At CIM, base pay is one part of the total compensation package. For this role, bonus compensation may be a significant part of the total compensation. RESPONSIBILITIES: Foster a collaborative approach by leveraging internal resources across the distribution value chain; drive campaigns through cross-functional coordination with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, Finance, and Product teams. Initiate and manage marketing, sales, and service support initiatives in partnership with sales leadership, wholesalers, and support staff. Cultivate and expand strategic relationships with new and existing broker-dealer partners. Conduct regular travel to broker-dealer home offices to identify sales opportunities, secure product approvals, and strengthen partnerships. Deliver periodic sponsor reviews to clients, including firm overviews,wholesaler activity, platform availability, sales performance data, marketing initiatives, and additional capabilities. Coordinate and attend broker-dealer and industry conferences; identify post-conference opportunities for the sales team and provide comprehensive recaps. Educate financial advisors on CIM Group and promote available product offerings. Share best practices with the sales team to enhance advisor engagement and improve sales process efficiency. Build new relationships while maintaining and deepening existing ones. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CIM Group’s marketing campaigns, websites, value-add offerings, and product positioning relative to competitors. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.) 10+ years’ experience with a significant understanding of relationship management and product management. Industry experience in commercial real estate or financial services a plus. Ability to use sound judgment in negotiation and pricing discussions. Extensive travel required (30%; higher if not located in NY Metro). Field experience, either internal or external a plus. Experience working with financial advisors and broker/dealers. Active FINRA Licenses (Series 7, 63). Exceptional communication and presentation skills. Experience with Microsoft Office suite and Sales Force required. ABOUT YOU: Leverage established, high-impact relationships with senior executives and key influencers across major Wirehouses and Banks to drive strategic initiatives and business growth. Ability to work in a collaborative, matrixed organization; ability to effectively influence across departments and management levels. Ability to connect up and down client organizations, from less seasoned to C-suite level clients and other centers of influence. Creative commercial instincts to identify sales opportunities to expand product availability and commercial success for ongoing sales efforts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and presentation skills, and strong attention to detail. Naturally collaborative, quickly builds trust, operates with “balance of IQ and EQ” driven to achieve success as a team versus individually. Intellectually curious, possesses gravitas; hands-on, long-term oriented, desire to contribute beyond one’s role. Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize workload. Possess a high level of energy, discipline, tenacity and self-motivation. Operate with a high degree of integrity, pursue efforts for ongoing self-development and improvement.
