Start a career with us today!\n<h2>Position Overview</h2>\n<p>The general role of a Network/Telecom Technician is to install, maintain, and troubleshoot data network infrastructure. This includes routers, switches, and cabling. The Network/Telecom Technician ensures reliable connectivity by performing routine maintenance, testing equipment, and resolving connectivity issues to keep network systems running efficiently.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This individual will receive guidance from leadership and should be responsive to customer questions or concerns and address any issues in a timely manner. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Network/Telecom Technician reports to the Electronic Security and Safety Department Manager and works primarily out of the Columbus, OH area.  </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Management of IT infrastructure - Hardware setup, customer network support, Endpoint support in field.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and support all IT connected devices</li>\n <li>Remediate Security vulnerabilities and perform/request appropriate action from respective items/teams</li>\n <li>Collaborate with Operations across multiple groups to meet current and future continuous improvement project goals</li>\n <li>Ability to assist with deploying/troubleshooting networking solutions on premise, cloud, or hybrid.</li>\n <li>Provide Technical support and on-site troubleshooting/repair for customers.</li>\n <li>Responding to phone calls and texts after hours and on weekends within a timely manner</li>\n <li>Experience and Skills in documenting all work performed daily to build complete customer work history</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic knowledge of control and electrical system design</li>\n <li>Demonstrate ability in supporting and troubleshooting IT network connected devices</li>\n <li>Experience with Routers/Switches, Wireless, Firewall and Security</li>\n <li>VMWare experience is recommended</li>\n <li>Skills on TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, SMTP, Web Technologies, Security tools and Firewalls policies</li>\n <li>Windows desktop and server operating systems</li>\n <li>IOS systems</li>\n <li>Proficient with MS Office productivity software</li>\n <li>Ability to efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals</li>\n <li>Ability to balance multiple projects</li>\n <li>Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills, able to work independently and in team environments</li>\n <li>Proactive, resourceful, and highly motivated with good communication skills and ability to work in high output environment</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain professionalism while interacting with customers, with an aptitude to answer technical questions in a simplified manner</li>\n <li>Able to work a flexible schedule and adjust to changing business needs including possible emergency call-out, extended hours and some out-of-town and overnight work</li>\n <li>Willing to participate in the company’s required background and drug screening process</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Walk, crawl, talk, see, read, hear, feel, sit, stand, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, grasp and climb with both hands and legs for extended periods of time</li>\n <li>Lift and/or move up to 75 pounds</li>\n <li>Climb at heights of 300’+ for extended periods of time</li>\n <li>Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Eligibility Qualifications</strong></p>\n<p>This position requires the completion of a thorough background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
