We do offer per diem for those that qualify.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong></p>\n<p>The Electrical Specialist will play a pivotal role in overseeing and ensuring the peak performance, reliability, and safety of our client's power plants' electrical systems. This position demands a blend of overseeing fieldwork, strategic planning, and team collaboration to manage greenfield, brownfield, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities across our diverse client range of power generation assets.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Overseeing greenfield, brownfield, routine, and preventive maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including transformers, switchgear, generators, and control systems. </li>\n <li>Drive troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts to identify and resolve complex electrical issues promptly, leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving skills. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and safety departments, to plan and execute electrical maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal plant performance. </li>\n <li>Develop, implement, and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment, prioritizing employee well-being and compliance with industry regulations. </li>\n <li>Monitor equipment performance and efficiency, recommending and overseeing the implementation of improvements, upgrades, and modifications as necessary to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.</li>\n <li>Maintain comprehensive records of electrical maintenance activities, inspections, equipment condition, and performance metrics for compliance, reporting, and continuous improvement purposes. </li>\n <li>Provide technical leadership, support, and guidance to plant operators, maintenance teams, and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.</li>\n <li>Ensure the installed progress and work product are in line with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements. Highlight any variances or changes in the work placement.</li>\n <li>Track work progress and highlight key activity development in daily reports. </li>\n <li>Support our partners and project stakeholders at each project are communicating early and often when problems arise and be able to find creative solutions to project challenges.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential skills and experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical installations, operations, and maintenance within the power generation industry, with a proven track record of leadership and management. </li>\n <li>Comprehensive technical knowledge and expertise in power plant electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, switchgear, generators, and control systems. </li>\n <li>Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques for electrical systems, coupled with a strategic mindset and analytical capabilities. </li>\n <li>Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to power plant electrical operations, maintenance, and safety. </li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. </li>\n <li>Willingness to travel and work in various locations across the United States as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Award-Winning Benefits</h2>\n<p>At Sargent & Lundy, we care about the health and well-being of our employees.
