In this role, you will contribute to the design and delivery of electrical systems for a wide variety of building projects across GTA. You will work closely with engineers, technologists, and other disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while supporting the continued growth of CIMA+’s local presence in the region.</p><p>This role offers a balance of technical design, project coordination, and field engagement, including site visits and construction support for projects throughout GTA.</p><p>You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in our Bowmanville or Mississauga&#xa0;offices.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and develop electrical systems for buildings including lighting, power distribution, communications, security, and fire alarm systems</li><li>Prepare electrical designs, drawings, and models using Microstation and AutoCAD</li><li>Perform electrical design calculations and assist with equipment selection and system layouts</li><li>Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines</li><li>Conduct site visits and field investigations to review existing conditions and support construction activities</li><li>Participate in project meetings and collaborate with clients, contractors, and project teams</li><li>Support proposal preparation and contribute to project planning activities</li><li>Continued professional development through participation in internal and external learning opportunities</li><li>Assist in mentoring junior staff and contributing to the development of the local engineering team </li><li>Directly engage with clients to understand project needs and maintain strong business relationships</li></ul>",
