Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities for this Position</h2>\n<p>Job Description: </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), a market leader and technology innovator, is seeking a talented Secure Data/Voice Solutions Architect to join our team, to focus on maintaining and growing GDMS'  customer base and content.  As a Secure Data/Voice Solutions Architect, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provides technical sales & marketing support for GDMS secure data & voice encryption products\n  <ul>\n   <li>Identifies customers’ system needs</li>\n   <li>Performs feasibility and performance studies, including benchmarking, capacity planning, etc.</li>\n   <li>Develops recommendations to meet customer needs, including system configurations, installation planning, etc.</li>\n   <li>Prepares and presents technical product briefs and related information to customers regarding all aspects of company products </li>\n   <li>Supports requests for proposal (RFP) response preparation and submittals.</li>\n   <li>Implements detailed customer installations to meet requirements</li>\n   <li>Follow-up customer engagements to assess and ensure effective implementation of SNVP products.</li>\n   <li>Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Advocates technical direction to address current and future customer needs \n  <ul>\n   <li>Works with key stakeholders (engineering, BD, sales and customers) to assess potential application of company products to meet customer needs </li>\n   <li>Contributes to the development of product solutions, specifications and requirements</li>\n   <li>Conducts market research to determine requirements for current and future products as well as potential partner relationships products</li>\n   <li>Disseminates technical information on specific applications to stakeholders.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>25-50% Travel is required</li>\n</ul>\n<p>In addition, the successful candidate will also possess the following:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with secure communication networks; HAIPE, EDE, VoIP, ISDN, Analog, SCIP, SATCOM or any combination thereof.</li>\n <li>Understands networking design and principles for secure networks.</li>\n <li>Experience with the following aspects of network systems highly desired:\n  <ul>\n   <li>High speed encryption</li>\n   <li>IDS/IPS systems</li>\n   <li>Cloud security architectures</li>\n   <li>Network management tools (i.e SNMPv3, RESTCONF)</li>\n   <li>Configuring and troubleshooting of call managers (e.g. Cisco, Avaya, etc.)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Understands sales engineering principles and key role in achieving business objectives</li>\n <li>Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to present technical and product solutions to small and large audiences</li>\n <li>Ability to think creatively, multi-task and work independently without significant direction</li>\n <li>Clearly communicates information relevant to sales engineering along with highlighting issues, impacts, and recommended corrective actions.</li>\n <li>Subject matter expert (SME) in at least one discipline of secure communications and very strong knowledge in adjacent fields.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#LI-Hybrid</p>\n<h2>Salary Note</h2>This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary.
