With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.</p>\n<p><strong>Overall Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:17.85pt\">The main responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Preparing and reviewing engineering deliverables including complex reports, proposals, presentations, and drawing packages.</li>\n <li>HV transmission and distribution substations secondary systems electrical design: protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, protection and control room layout, IED selection.</li>\n <li>Conducting protection coordination and developing tripping schemes.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Taking personal responsibility for the preparation of detailed engineering documentation and leading the engineering effort for project including providing technical and performance oversight for team members.</li>\n <li>To manage selected projects, project task/responsibilities as assigned, and/or design processes (or parts of projects) to meet agreed budget, quality, and timeframe targets.</li>\n <li>To deliver fully documented designs to meet Client objectives and ARCADIS quality system requirements.</li>\n <li>Ensure application of relevant international / EU standards and engineering knowledge in various projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Technical Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Apply engineering knowledge, techniques and tools complying with international design standards and EU Codes &amp; Standards relevant to assigned project.</li>\n <li>Prepare document and drawing package for the appropriate project design submission stage complying with codes and standards and delivering the design with high quality.</li>\n <li>Conduct internal review and quality checks of engineering drawings and design calculations to ensure compliance with the project's requirements.</li>\n <li>Prepare and register all relevant documentation and design reports and ensure all documentation is accurate and in compliance with the Arcadis and customer requirements.</li>\n <li>Liaise with other disciplines and ensure all requirements are understood.</li>\n <li>Understanding scope and change in scope when it arises.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Use software packages as required for the design and delivery.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>At least 4 years’ experience in substation secondary design, preferably in a consulting environment.</li>\n <li>Consulting experience in EU Energy Transition projects is preferred.</li>\n <li>Experience in CAD documentation to EU Energy standards and other international standards.</li>\n <li>Experience in substation processes from concept stage to construction and As-Builts.</li>\n <li>Bachelor Degree of Technology / Science in Electrical Engineering from recognized University.</li>\n <li>Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent mathematical skills applied in engineering calculations.</li>\n <li>Organizational skills and proactive approach in project management.</li>\n <li>Ability to provide solutions to technical problems.</li>\n <li>Actively continue to develop technical knowledge and new emerging technology.</li>\n <li>The ability to develop complex models in ETAP and conduct protection coordination.</li>\n <li>At least 2 years’ experience in design &amp; drafting electrical infrastructure in EU, general familiarity with the electricity supply industry, electricity transmission and distribution practices and related topics.</li>\n <li>Computational design, design algorithms and automation of data manipulation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>OTHERS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Liaise with Arcadis lead offices representatives and other consultants as appropriate to the project.</li>\n <li>Working to achieve project delivery on time to budget and to a high standard meeting Client expectation.</li>\n <li>Develop study and design procedures to facilitate high-quality and cost-effective work</li>\n <li>Plan, coordinate and mentor junior engineers.</li>\n <li>Take responsibility for defined tasks within prescribed limits.</li>\n <li>Gain experience and proficiency in Arcadis’ systems and procedures.</li>\n <li>Become familiar and compliant with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.</li>\n</ul>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">Why Arcadis?</p>\n<p style=\"margin-left:0in\">We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
