In-office presence is an essential function due to the need for real-time collaboration with providers, direct interaction with patients and caregivers, and secure handling of health data in compliance with HIPAA. &nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Qualification Requirements</u></strong></p><p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to participate in the assessment of patients; use critical thinking skills in response to events, observations, experiences, verbal and written communication, problem solving and decision making.</p><p>This position is designated as an on-site, patient-facing role. In-office presence is an essential function due to the need for real-time collaboration with providers, direct interaction with patients and caregivers, and secure handling of health data in compliance with HIPAA.</p><p><strong><u>Minimum Qualifications</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Degree or Certification for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and 2 years clinical experience, or a combination of education and experience.</li><li>Active LPN license in the state of North Carolina/South Carolina</li><li>Nephrology experience preferred</li><li>Current BLS or ACLS certification</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li></ul><p><strong><u>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR platforms</li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional ethics</li><li>Interpersonal skills to collaborate with care teams and provide compassionate service</li><li><strong>Ability to demonstrate and uphold ENA&rsquo;s core values: Compassion, Excellence, Inclusion, Collaboration, and Innovation</strong></li></ul><p><strong><u>Supervisory Responsibilities:</u></strong>&nbsp; None</p><p><strong><u>Essential Functions - This position is designated as an on-site, patient-facing role. In-office presence is an essential function due to the need for real-time collaboration with providers, direct interaction with patients and caregivers, and secure handling of health data in compliance with HIPAA.</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Prepare patients for clinical evaluation, including chart review and initial assessment.25%</li><li>Obtain and document vital signs, weight, allergies, and current medications in the EMR. 25%</li><li>Perform lab procedures within scope, including fingerstick HGB and stool card interpretation after certification. 25%</li><li>Educate patients and complete referrals as directed by the provider. 15%</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of communication, interventions, and follow-up care in the EMR.10%</li></ul><p><strong><u>Physical Demands</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Hearing, visual acuity, depth perception, balancing, handling, and talking.</li><li>Reaching, grabbing, holding &ndash; fine motor skills.</li><li>Extended periods in a stationary or standing position</li><li>Repetitive motion such as entering data into computer-based programs.</li><li>Lift or move up to twenty-five pounds. Employees are expected to use appropriate ergonomics and tools such as hand carts for heavier loads.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Work Environment</u></strong></p><p>Work is performed in a typical interior/office work environment. The noise level is usually moderate.
