In this role, you&#39;ll have the opportunity to guide and inspire children in a fun, safe, and inclusive recess setting. You&#39;ll play a crucial part in fostering physical activity, teamwork, and positive social interactions among students.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li><strong>Foster Fun and Safety:</strong> Create and maintain a lively, inclusive playground environment where safety and enjoyment go hand-in-hand. Organize and lead games and activities for 20+ students.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Innovate Play: </strong>Coordinate the &quot;game of the day&quot; and keep recess exciting with a variety of popular activities that engage all students.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Promote Positive Play: </strong>Encourage safe, healthy play and positive conflict resolution by modeling good behavior and actively participating in activities.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Inspire Engagement:</strong> Actively engage a diverse group of students in respectful and inclusive play, ensuring everyone feels welcome and involved.</li>\r\n\t<li><strong>Teach with Confidence:</strong> Deliver Physical Education lessons confidently across multiple grade levels, fostering physical development and teamwork.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t<p><u>Qualifications</u>:</p>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>At least two years of college coursework (48 semester units), an associate&rsquo;s degree or higher, or proof of certification through a local assessment that meets the requirements of the &quot;<em>Every Student Succeeds Act&quot; or ability to take para professional exam.</em></li>\r\n\t<li>1-2 years of experience in sports, recreation, or youth programs with a passion for working with children and youth development preferred.</li>\r\n\t<li>Bilingual in English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages (Preferred)</li>\r\n\t<li>Strong group management skills, with the ability to lead and engage groups of 20+ students.</li>\r\n\t<li>Experience working with culturally diverse student populations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, staff, parents, and partner organizations.</li>\r\n\t<li>Physical ability to stand and be outdoors for extended periods, participate in physical activities, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 40 lbs. occasionally.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to adapt sports and activities to ensure inclusion and participation for students of all abilities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Reliable transportation.</li>\r\n\t<li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License or State ID.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to pass a background check via online/live scan.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Details:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Wage: $25&nbsp;per hour.</li>\r\n\t<li>Schedule: Monday - Friday, During the hours between 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (28.75 hours/week)</li>\r\n\t<li>Job Type: Part-time</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><em>Brains and Motion Education is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to maintaining a diverse and inclusive work environment.
