This role will be full-time night shift from Monday – Friday, Every Other Weekend, 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><i>Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience.</i>&nbsp;<i>We are also proud to be consistently recognized as a top employer in both the D.C. metro area and the nation.&nbsp;</i></p>\n<p><strong>Featured Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Committed to Team Member Health:&nbsp;</strong>offering medical, dental, and vision coverage and a robust team member wellness program.</li>\n <li><strong>Retirement:&nbsp;</strong>Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions – starting on your first day.</li>\n <li><strong>Tuition and Student Loan Assistance:&nbsp;</strong>offering<strong>&nbsp;</strong>up to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans.</li>\n <li><strong>Mental Health Support:&nbsp;</strong>offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost.</li>\n <li><strong>Work/Life Balance:&nbsp;</strong>offering<strong>&nbsp;</strong>paid time off, paid parental leave, and flexible work schedules.</li>\n</ul>\n<div>\n <div>\n  <div>\n   <p><strong>Registered Nurse (RN) Float Pool Job Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n   <ul>\n    <li>Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple, sometimes conflicting, data sets and synthesizing their interrelationships</li>\n    <li>Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice</li>\n    <li>Supports and empowers patient/families as they progress through the healthcare continuum from health promotion to end of life decisions</li>\n    <li>Advocates for patients' rights from the patient/family perspective while providing counsel and acting as a resource to resolve issues</li>\n    <li>Anticipates ethical, spiritual and cultural needs of patients and intervenes to maximize patient outcomes and coordinates healthcare and alternate services for patient/family transition planning</li>\n    <li>Documents all patient care activities, as per documentation standards, and assists healthcare team members with documentation</li>\n    <li>Evaluates the outcomes of documentation and contributes to related performance improvement initiatives</li>\n    <li>Collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and leads other disciplines to meet desired outcomes</li>\n    <li>Acts as a clinical resource and serves as a mentor to healthcare team members</li>\n    <li>Demonstrates evidence of self-development by obtaining a minimum of six formal contact hours and maintains own Team Member Continuing Education Record</li>\n   </ul>\n   <p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&nbsp;</p>\n   <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n   <ul>\n    <li><strong>Education:&nbsp;</strong>Graduate of an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing&nbsp;\n     <ul>\n      <li>If RNs have an Associate’s Degree within 2 years of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1. Identify which school they plan to attend, 2. Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion; 3. Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required prerequisites and timeline for taking the courses, and&nbsp;<strong>4. Complete BSN within 5 years of start date</strong></li>\n     </ul></li>\n    <li><strong>Experience</strong>: Experience: 2+ years of critical care RN experience preferred</li>\n    <li><strong>Certifications</strong>- BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association) &amp; NIHSS&nbsp;</li>\n   </ul>\n  </div>\n </div>\n</div>",
