You will work directly with clients, custodians, Indian exchanges (BSE/NSE), depositories (NSDL/CDSL), and global desks to ensure every trade moves seamlessly from execution to settlement. This is a hands-on senior role where your deep market knowledge, analytical skills, stakeholder coordination, and process improvement mindset will make a real and measurable impact.</p>\n<p><strong>Job responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage broking operations encompassing trade contracting and trade settlement functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across the end-to-end trade lifecycle in the Indian market context.</li>\n <li>Interface with clients, custodians, exchanges (BSE/NSE), depositories (NSDL/CDSL), banks, and overseas desks to facilitate proper trade processing and settlement, building productive working relationships that drive mutually beneficial outcomes.</li>\n <li>Prepare and send trade confirmations to clients, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to SEBI regulations, exchange-specific requirements, and internal standards.</li>\n <li>Oversee trade settlement and accounting processes, including bank accounting and reconciliation of ledgers through detailed investigation using various systems and tools, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial data.</li>\n <li>Prepare and deliver management information reporting to support business decision-making and operational transparency.</li>\n <li>Respond to regulator and client-related queries within required service-level agreements, ensuring compliance with SEBI, BSE, NSE, and other applicable Indian regulatory frameworks, and escalating issues as necessary.</li>\n <li>Handle exchange reporting requirements, ensuring timely and accurate submissions in line with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), National Stock Exchange (NSE), and other regulatory obligations.</li>\n <li>Contribute to the review and improvement of end-to-end trade lifecycle processes, applying process improvement methodologies to optimize operations within the Indian broking environment.</li>\n <li>Support strategic projects in partnership with product, technology, and change management partners, ensuring seamless adoption of new processes and technologies.</li>\n <li>Identify and manage risk issues and exceptions above materiality thresholds, driving timely resolution and maintaining a strong control environment aligned with Indian regulatory standards.</li>\n <li>Perform root cause analysis for respective clients to increase straight-through processing rates and reduce client inquiries.<br>\n  &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.</li>\n <li>Minimum 8 years of experience in stock broking operations, including trade contracting, settlements, trade and bank accounting, exchange and bank reconciliations, and liaising with banks, custodians, exchanges, and depositories.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Mandatory: Thorough, hands-on knowledge of the Indian stock market, including BSE and NSE operations, SEBI regulatory framework, Indian trade lifecycle, and depository systems (NSDL/CDSL). This is a non-negotiable requirement for this senior role.</li>\n <li>Mandatory: Demonstrated experience with India-specific broking operations, reconciliation rules, exchange reporting obligations, and custody coordination within the Indian market.</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across clients, custodians, exchanges, overseas desks, and internal stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Ability to manage high volumes and competing priorities while maintaining discipline and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access, with comfort working with data and reporting tools.</li>\n <li>Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and a strong risk and control mindset.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with data and automation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, UiPath, or similar platforms.</li>\n <li>Exposure to cross-border settlement processes and coordination with global desks on India-linked trades.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with emerging regulatory developments in the Indian capital markets space.</li>\n</ul>",
